397 Amp Alternators plus Supplemental Heat

So I have my remote start HVAC settings for auto based on air temp. I have the seat heat and cool on auto as well. I always leave my HVAC in auto and never change fan speed of vent setting. HVAC gives preference to cowl and floor when it runs initially to help with defrosting. I ran auto start this AM for about 10 min. 34 degrees freedomheit ambient air temp. I didn't use a thermometer to check the cab temp because it was noticeably warmer. seats were warm, cab was warm. check you HVAC settings for auto start and see that they are set to your liking. If it's still an issue check with the service guys to make sure it's working
So HOW or WHERE do you make the settings for remote start HVAC settings???

Ok. I was looking in menus of the radio part. I changed all that to auto.
It was only cool yesterday morning, not cold. I did remote start and let it run for maybe 5 minutes. I got in and started it then quickly hit the vent air control and there was a little bit of warm air coming out. Then it cooled off. I think the supp heat only works during remote start. Or it just doesn’t have enough BTU to make much noticeable difference with the fan on anything but low.

Mine works great Like mentioned above I keep in AUTO. Just love it. and the heated wheel is nice too. Its not instant heat but its 3-4 min tops and comfy.

That heated steering wheel works good but stay away from the trim around those buttons , they remain cold!!
