26 Subwoofer options.

I'm helping a buddy round up everything that he needs for a decent budget speaker upgrade. He's going with the Focal Flax EVO 3 ways in the front doors, dash & pillars & 2 ways in the rear doors like I used in my 24. He asked me yesterday if there is any way to modify the factory sub or a drop plug & play replacement for it because he doesn't to go with the MTI dual JL sub box and amp that I'm running & I get that. I figured that I'd ask on here because someone has probably figured out a cheap option or mod for the weird stock sub for a little more bump Thx, MIke

The factory is a POS 6x9" sub, not really worth anything other than going in the trash.

Yeah the 6x9 “woofer” in these trucks is sort of a waste of space. Check out the Ford parts store. They have a Kicker 8” powered woofer that is supposed to be plug n play. The reviews aren’t bad but I don’t think it is really that powerful if you are looking for some serious thumping from your sub.

If you want to go full custom box and woofer well then the sky is the limit. Only limiting factor is your bank account and how much you want to spend

That's the sub that I went with on my 17 Raptor & it wasn't bad for what I paid for it. It looks like the OEM unit that came on with 21 Tremor. I don't think that will fit in the newer trucks 23-26. Thx
