2027 SUPER DUTY CUSTOM ORDER @ GRANGER MOTORS- 3% BELOW INVOICE!!

I'm pretty close to dropping a deposit on a custom order F350 King Ranch Tremor with Granger Ford.
I only recently learned of ordering from high volume dealers and saving big bucks. I gave my local dealer in NY a shot to be reasonably competitive and I don't think that's going well. I gave Chapman Ford a shot but only got return communication from their web bots. Their website only had the internet form to communicate (also a phone number, but that would be a difficult way to relay the truck info). While researching to find their email (which I did find), I also heard some negative feedback.
With that said, Granger responded immediately and offered a fantastic deal in writing! No other dealer has done that. I am just going to confirm my truck options, shake off the nerves about spending so much on a truck and get them the deposit! Nothing wrong with a 1,200 mile road trip to break her in.

I gave my local Ford dealer an opportunity to be within 500 bucks of Granger's quote but they told me to go pound sand. So I flew from Chicago and drove my 2026 F350 KR back. First stop was NAPA for diesel fuel additive and then hopped on the interstate back home. Was perfect and great experience all around. Just got my first oil change done at 1600 miles, then plan a 2nd one at 5k then every 5k after. Good luck!

Yeah my local dealer literally told me, "We'll sit down and order your truck, we'll sell it to you MSRP, but when it comes in, we'll sit down I'll give you a discount to keep your business". I asked if that will be close to invoice or better, he said "No".

Chapman in PA (another high volume dealer), doesn't want to play.
Granger and road trip it is!
I'll order within a day or two, just trying to settle on the final configuration and options.
