Looking at the 2027 order guide, it calls the rim color Ebony black vs Gloss black for 2026s. I like the look in the picture, but that's not to say they won't look completely different in person.

My 25 has a brownish tint to the stitching.First time I've looked over the 2027 order build pictures. I don't recall the yellow stitching in the Black Onyx seats before - is this new?

Unfortunately the railroad doesn’t get in a hurry.Received my window sticker as well. Now it's another round of the waiting game. How long does it take to get to Cali...
It’s a long thread, but the TL;DR version is that nothing changed with the engine. The standard for testing did. The new standard accounts for parasitic losses (fan, alternator(s) and compressor). Not sure how many saw the thread regarding the 2027 7.3L power rating going down to 420HP and 445TQ. But I'm seriously considering buying a 2026 Tremor that I found local at a substantially discounted price (just under $11K off MSRP). The 2026 has the Black appearance and Ultimate Packages (along with $1150 worth of other options) for only 3K more then the 2027 I have on order (which doesn't have those options). It's also in Star White (that I love) which is another $995 upcharge. Pretty sure I'm pulling the trigger on the 2026..

7.3 to lose 40 LB FT of TQ and 10 HP for 2027
Looks like the 7.3 is getting a big haircut on power to try and get you into the diesel. Glad I bought the 26 model. New power is 420 HP/445 LB FT down from 430 HP/ 485 LB FT. Peak torque is also at a higher RPM (4,250). This means the GM 6.6 L8T is now the class leading HD gasoline engine with...www.fordtremor.com
Good luck with your 2026 find. I'd think both Ford and your dealer will be happy to move a leftover off the lot and you get a bargain price. Your 2027 dealer can then post your incoming 2027 as "In Transit" on their website and probably sell before it even arrives, everyone wins. One other benefit, Ford can now continue to sell the SD's in all 50 States. We've all been dealing with emissions over the years, but when did 400+ HP become not enough for a gasser?Per the other thread..
Ford has confirmed the power cut is very real and not just an adjustment to SAE readings. Probably a good idea to get the 26 and not the 27. Statement from Ford below:
“We’ve updated the 7.3L engine to ensure the Super Duty remains compliant with the latest environmental standards. While this resulted in a minor adjustment to peak output figures, the 7.3L remains a leading gasoline engine in terms of displacement and real-world work capacity. It continues to deliver the performance that Super Duty customers expect including best-in-class payload.”
Just looked online again now truck shows scheduled week of production moved to 10/12/26... WTF... window sticker... is the blend date 8/13/26?View attachment 267013
Thanks and my thoughts are the same. Should be a win-win especially for the dealer getting the 2027 as I'm locked in under invoice. My main issue is I feel Ford isn't being upfront and honest on the actual reason for the reduction in power ratings. If it's due to an update in SAE testing and using regular vs Premium fuel, I could buy into that as it's an easy explanation. But if it truly is a reduction in power, if given a choice, why not choose the higher output. Especially when factoring in resale value down the road.Good luck with your 2026 find.
