2024 MY Super Duty Order/Schedule/Build Thread

No problem!

Ordered 9-26. Scheduled on 9-28 for week of 10-23. With the strike BS I got pushed back twice to 12/4. Carbonized Gray High Output F250 Platinum Tremor with Power Boards, vault, rapid heat, block heater, and max recline. Plus floor mats and a bed mat but that won't make a difference. I ordered purely because I didn't want a sunroof or cabs lights like every truck I found on the lot.

My dealership also has me at code 3. Before the strike It looked like I'd have a truck 6-8 weeks from order and I certainly wasn't expecting that. But being delayed was pretty handy, I needed to pick it up after 12-9 for my X-plan to be official.

I suppose your priority code 3 helps quite a bit...perhaps. It seems you were originally scheduled super quick! This is the first vehicle I've ever ordered so I'm not real familiar with the process; so I've just been watching this thread and trying to learn from others.

I submitted and had my order confirmed 9/18 with a Priority Code 05 with Z-Plan through a large dealer near Detroit, MI and meant to mention my truck is a Platinum too (the primary reason I was curious about your timeline); so I'm not sure why else mine hasn't seen any movement. I haven't even gotten the 45 day update some on here have mentioned. I had checked with my dealer about two weeks ago and was told there was no movement.

I ordered my 24MY f350 platinum tremor 7.3 Rapid Red cab lights carmelo max recline seats f/r wheel well liners/splash guards 5th wheel prep code 14. My dealer only has 2 retail trucks on order. Order date July 17th 23 received confirmation email same day and order update email August 31st nothing since. I hope to see a scheduled build date today or tomorrow.

Just curious: I've read through a lot of the posts but I placed MY24 order 11/15(submitted) never received an email from Ford but the dealer, Hines Park Ford in Detroit, sent me the DORA that confirmed the order was placed. The initial order placed by the deal was at a priority 19, and the DORA showed a priority 10. I'm curious as to how long it's going to take for this to be built, the dealer told me it should go into production by Feb-March but not sure how much I believe that but also don't see how it would benefit them to tell me that.

Fifth wheel set up and spray in bed line(really only two adds I've heard would hold up the build completion).

Wonder if your dealer is using a special trucking company. Mine was unloaded from rail car and has been sitting in a lot. Dealer says it can sit there for 3 weeks before being delivered to dealer. Would be interested to know if your dealer made special arrangements. I would in the future order from a dealer that did that rather than wait for the slow Ford trucking company United Road.

I'll let you know what I find out, I drive by the dealer frequently, the day after they called there was a truck there unloading SDs, none were mine, following day there were two empty trailers out front. I'm under the impression that they had a lot coming in, they specifically asked me what days I was available to come pick it up this week, sounds like maybe they had some influence. They also own CJRD, GMC, Subaru, Mitsu dealers down the road as well so it's possible they do their own last mile

My dealership just let me know that my truck went into production today. Not sure if that means that it is scheduled for production or if it is actively being built. I haven't received any emails or messages from Ford. I just upgraded to the Tremor package on Tuesday, so I'm hoping that the changes were made in time.

Lol, maybe the peasants shouldn't be ordering KR, Platinum, and Limited Looks like my Lariat hit the sweet spot. Possible that my dealer has good allocations right now too, if anyone wants to try them out I got mine under MSRP. Did you order from Granger by chance? Did you receive notification from ford or just the dealer? I have the same build at Granger on the same day...hoping to be scheduled as well

Mine was. Notified almost immediately by Ford after the order was confirmed. Granger gets a lot of allocations but also a lot of retail orders so I think they just come along in small batches. 300 allocations doesn't mean they all get scheduled at once even if there are no part constraints. That's my take.
