2024 lifted Tremor towing question

I know you're not looking at Carli, but for reference, go to Carli's website for their 5.5" system. They specifically call out for "TREMOR Lift Height: 3.5"

So I'd say you're safe to assume a net 3" lift from Tremor stock height on a BDS 5" kit. That's an "assumption" though so...
I've went to my dealership and measured both a stock Tremor and a non-Tremor F-250 based my measurements the 24 Tremor is roughly 1.5" taller from the middle of the axle to a marked point on the fender. I used a dry erase marker to take the measurements so hopefully it would be more accurate that way. The extra height is coming from the OEM 35" Duratracs which really measure out right around 34.5". This is picture of a 24 Tremor with the BDS 5" kit is what really through me off because while it looks great, it also looks taller than I'm looking to go because of our 5th wheel and my 5'1" wife already has issues getting in and out of my 21 with the 2.5" leveling kit with 38's on it.

I'm 6'4" and my 5" BDS truck on 37s is surprisingly hard to get into. I literally got a step stool for my late 60s mom to get in.

My 5.5 Carli with 37’s would be a pain to get in if I had fixed running boards. The power running boards make it pretty easy…

A guy on the Tremor forum on Facebook said that he bought F150 running board brackets, and it lowered the boards a roughly 3 inches and it certainly helped with getting into the truck. I'm looking into that right now.

AMP makes steps that are extra low.

I just bought a 2024 TREMOR, which is the first step in getting what I need for retirement. My next purchase will be a Brinkley fifth wheel. I had the same questions as you, and I found someone from AZ who just bought the same truck and rig I'm looking at. This isn't ours, but this is a photo of his setup. I talked to him on a Brinkley Forum, and he says his pulls are fine with a GenY gooseneck.

I love the new Brinkleys! 2 of our friends both bought the new mid bunkhouse model. We have a 23 Jayco Northpoint 377 mid bunk. I also have the Gen Y goose neck hitch and had zero issues pulling Northpoint with my 21 F250 Tremor with a Ready lift 2.5" leveling kit and 37" Nitto tires. My concern is that I want to do 4-5" lift kit on my new 24 F250 Tremor which could end up causing the truck to be tall for the 5th wheel.

I tow our 35' 2024 Brinkley Z3100 5th wheel with GenY gooseneck pinbox and 5" offset ball with a stock 2023 Lariat Tremor. The trailer rides just barely nose high and with ANY lift it would be problematic. The pinbox can't go any higher on the trailer, so a lift with this setup would not work on my truck/camper. YMMV.

Damn it :-( We're seasonal at Normandy Farms in Ma and I've seen so many lifted super duties come in and out over the last 2yrs of us being there that I thought I could safely get away with a 4-5" lift kit especially seeing as I'm running the Gen Y which definitely has more wiggle height-wise than the More Ryde box and Reece hitch that I originally had a few yrs ago.

This is my buddy's 22 F350 with the same BDS 5" lift kit that I'm thinking about going with and he pulls his 43' toy hauler with zero issues and it looks pretty level when I see him at the MX races with it. With that 5" a Tremor will only gain 3.5" in front and 1.5" in the rear because they're already already taller than a regular super duty. I'm totally confused now.. 🤔🤔

I tow a Shockwave toy hauler with my 2022 stock tremor. The shockwave comes with springs on top of the axles from the factory. I run a Goosebox and a Gen-Y 5" offset ball in the bed that is 2" taller than the factory ball. I have 7.5" bed rail clearance and my trailer is slightly nose high with the airbags aired to level the truck. With my trailer, I wouldn't want any lift at all as the trailer is already nose-high. It tows well with no problems. I guess it depends on the trailer design and whether you can get away with a lift, but I think 5" would be too much, especially if you are going with larger tires.
