because I already own it. It pulled up on the delivery truck still wrapped in plastic, hadnt been PDI'd yet and I paid for it. and from the side you cant really tell. it was made obvious when the no drill flaps were installed. And you cant just send a truck back without first going through steps and not having a resolution, employee or not. hence why I asked on a tremor forum if this was common. Didnt think some smartass would shit on someone for an honest question, but then again it is 2021...So why are you accepting such a defective truck if you have others to compare it to? You as the buyer have final say to accept the deal or not and here you are complaining as a FORD employee about how messed up it looks compared to other trucks... Take that as your first flag. Walk away, send it back, get another! Almost sounds like somebody really screwed up and put a Ranger axle on the truck!
Not shitting on you - just wondering why! When I go to pick my truck up, I'll walk down everything ... you know that you have the option to walk away if there is something you don't like or they are unwilling to fix. You're under no obligation to buy an ordered vehicle if you don't like it.because I already own it. I know you’re not under obligation. But after you bought and paid for it it’s yours. And that’s what happened. I didn’t notice till a couple days later, then started doing comparisons. Not shitting on you - just wondering why! Mine are the same as well, as built. There are no spacers....Mine is the same...spacer in the back? I do like a thicker ass...
Mine’s not.Every tremor I have ever seen has the rears tucked in, thats why there are hundreds of pages showing aftermarket wheel and tire changes. I work at a dealership and see every flavor of 250-550 many times a day, I notice it because I know to look, most people don’t ever notice, but believe me its there. My 19 250 really showed it when I put new rims on with a +12 offset.....rears were flush, fronts were out 2”. It depends on what angle you look at, but the tucked in rears are pretty standard practice on these superduties. I will be ordering a new set of either +12 or 0 offset rims for my tremor on order....will solve that problem before I take delivery!
No sir not talking “appearance” talking tape measure center to center difference... then comparing to many of the other 19/20/21 super duty’s at work and not finding any with that muchI wonder if by chance you guys aren’t taking into account the wheel flares that all Tremors have, but only two tone non-Tremors have. That would give the appearance of I’d guess a 1” or 1.5” “narrower” rear track, perhaps even more.
Time to start checking the rear axle tags to see if Tremors have a different part number. I'm referring to the axle housing itself. No sir not talking “appearance” talking tape measure center to center difference... then comparing to many of the other 19/20/21 super duty’s at work and not finding any with that much
100000% agree. Even 10 seconds of mud fun is 3hours of workI dont spend a lot of time in the mud. I love playing in the mud, but my hate for cleaning an undercarriage is greater than my love for muddin ha
Totally agree! Many have gone way too far down the rabbit hole on this one. Dont worry about the things you cant change, especially when it is not having any detrimental effect. IMHOWhat makes you guys think the front fenders are supposed to be the same as the rear fenders? Or that the fenders are used to accurately measure the width of the track? Is that some sort of standard, or guarantee from Ford? The same on both sides tells you it is designed that way, and centered. The problem would be if the rear was off to one side.
If you are concerned about the track width, measure the front track width and compare it to the rear width. The fenders are not the measuring point. it's the outside width of the tires on the ground.
So, the best thing to do is turn it down and leave in disgust, based on an imagined problem. Then another guy can buy it the same day and have a great truck for life.
