Winch Install!

So here ya go! Got started on the install will finish up the detail stuff tomorrow, need to run the cables and trim out the plastic trim across the front. So far really nice kit, the dam sticker for the spool release is upside down but WTF I have the winch!! ? super picky about the details I want everything perfect!! Enjoy!!!

My dealer called yesterday. Parts guy said winch kits WILL BE AVAILABLE NEXT MONTH!

I just picked up my truck yesterday. The winch is in the box. I plan to install myself. I've built rigs before, various kits etc. I studied the install guide, doesn't look too bad. Only thing I wasn't sure about was something regarding the cruise control box?

7.3! They are all dealer installed at this time, they arrive around 2/3 weeks before the trucks show up

Vin # is on the box but I didn’t see a vin on the winch it self. Pretty easy install forsure. Will finish it up later today

so is this a project you would not recommend for the do it yourself guys? I was thinking about doing this as a winter project. I installed the winch system and bumpers on my Rubicon it was relatively easy and small compared to this. OR do you strongly recommend that the dealership provides the labor?

Shoot no!! Do it you can do it! The only thing u can’t do is recalibrate the radar for the cruise module. They say you don’t have to but we have seen to many issues with body shop after they repair a car and they don’t! I would highly recommend that forsure! It’s a do it yourself deal outside of that!
