So I took my truck to the dealer for an oil change a couple of Saturdays back. All went well and I went home to get our travel trailer to return it to storage. Once at storage, with the trailer still attached, I noticed the driver rear wheel had a bubble in the sidewall. Tires have 25,600 miles. After running my hand around the other three, they have it too, but to a lesser degree.
Long story short, Ford reached out to Goodyear who said they would offer 50% of the costs per tire, leaving me with paying taxes on the entire purchase plus mounting fees at Ford. In other words, they want over $800 for four more tires that I’m less than confident in. I’m pretty sure I’m going to decline and move on.
Have any of you seen anything like it?
