I Spy... with my little eye | 2023 SD Thread

Here it is, the first 2023 WS, a tad short of six figures.

A single rear wheel lariat?! I built a platinum on the build tool and it was 97k but wasn’t a tremor
This is exactly why I went with a Platnium Tremor with a handful of options. Not only for more options for a little more, but I would hope better resale. At eye watering 100770. Granted no winch.

I did Platinum Tremor with the 7.3 and a few options... I'm sitting at 81k. I don't need or want the diesel. Makes it a little easier pill to swallow. Lol

Same when I priced it. Originally had the platinum tremor with the HO 6.7 then I saw the MSRP. Sweet baby Jesus!! Changed it to a 7.3 regular platinum. Much better.

Thats the new reality going forward, i think. A bit of sticker shock now, but i wonder if anyone will question it a year or two down the road.

I will say, I dont tow anything big enough to need a diesel really, but resale value is worth the extra upfront cost to me. this is just my opinion. If I order another truck it will probably be a platinum, non tremor.

Anyone hear anything about the onboard scales and smart hitch? Cost of them? If they're standard equipment on any trim level?

Dang. The STX looks appealing. ESP now that you can get LED’s!

That stx is sweet. Im waiting a for a 23' lariat and 23' xl and I hope the xl shows up 1st. My XL is 10k cheaper if I get to use my eco/pco in time. Stx looks way better to me but it is a pricey package for an xl.

Ford updated their build site, you can now see what your truck will look like!

The dark color definitely makes the grille, side badges and steps look better…as they almost disappear.

Now, we need an option to change the front light-surround to a darker color. They remind me of a kid in elementary school with giant glasses.

Too bad the sport appearance package is so expensive on the '23. I'm going to suck it up and learn to like the chrome for $2500 in savings. My build MSRP is $72,600 for a Lariat Tremor with pro power, 5th wheel prep, and some minor other stuff like up fitter switches, cab lights, carpet delete. The hilarious part is a 502A (high trim) Lariat F150 tremor came out to the same MSRP. I'll take the superduty. My build should look like:

Chrome might actually be the play for these trucks anyway. Makes the front clip look bigger to make the lights look more normal. I was anti chrome/ white for a long time but now I have an 22 Oxford white KR and dig the chrome. Now that I’m 40 I guess I got old real quick the past couple years.
