Need opinions before I splurge on a Wheel / Tire setup

Finally made up my mind

So I was close to getting Methods, but seems like everyone has Methods. I'm sure for good reason, but I wanted something a little different.

Always been a KMC fan and these really caught my eye, especially now since I own a Grey Truck:

17x8.5 - 0 Offset

With these tires:

Yokohama 35x12.50R17 GEOLANDAR M/T G003

I would have liked to have gone 37's, but didn't want to mess with the suspension and also want to make sure I can still fit into my garage.

Post pictures when you get them installed - should look great on our gray truck!

I went with Method 703s but switching to Innov8 G500s. Method shave always treated me well but wanted something a bit different.

Hey Grabber, I'm looking to do 20x9.5 with a -18 offset BlackRhino Abrams wheels. I know. Controversial. I see you have 20s. I'd prefer not to have to do a leveling kit or lift. Is your suspension stock? And, what's the offset of those wheels?
Wondering the same but those fuels are more than likely a 29x9 +20 so what’s going to hurt us is the -18 offset

Mine are 20x9 +1MM, with completely stock suspension. Wheel design can also affect offset, so just make sure whoever you are buying them from know you want to stay with stock suspension. You should be good with a 35 12.50 or 295/65 r20 with stock suspension.

That being said with a 9” wide +1 I’d think a 9.5” wide -18 would be kicked out about an 1” further than yours roughly

I keep coming back to 18" black rhino wheels. Then I put them in the "cart" then I talk myself out of it. Then I look at 20" black rhino wheels and consider some extremely aggressive (mud) tires mounted on the 20's. Then I just say, "Screw it - the stocks are fine."

It a vicious cycle.
Geesh you sound like me.lol

I assume nobody is sticking with black OEM Tremor wheels ….. because they are too narrow? Are they 8.5? I actually like the look of the OEM Rims, but don’t like the look of the “pizza cutter” tires.

Anyone mount 35 x12.50 or 37 x 12.50 on the OEM’s ? ** Or any larger tires on the OEM’s ?

Stock rims are only 8" wide, which only gives you slim options on tires. Most tire shops won't mount 35x12.50 on them, even though people have said it can work?

You assume wrong. Just look at this month’s TOTM, most are running a stock set, i was surprised myself actually.

I put 305/70/18 on my truck early this week. the measure 35.3''x12.2'' and are approved for a 8'' wheel. I bought some stock sport wheels they are 18x8 just like the Tremor wheels.

I here ya I stress about wheels all the time my problem is ocd and extreme pickiness thought I settled on innov8’s but found out they only make a 9” wide no 10’s then I thought American forces but their 10” wides only come in a -25 offset didn’t want to go more than -18 so at this point I have no idea lol
So would 18” -18 offset work on a 35x12.5x18 tire without rubbing?

With a 10” wide ? It should, I’ve been looking for a 20x10 no more than -18 but can’t find anything I like

How long did it take to get the Geolandars in? I ordered 1 month ago today and nothing yet with no word on when they'll be produced at the Yokohama plant. LT315/70R18 for me.
About two weeks, purchased them through carid.com

35x12.5r17

I really like the so far. Little noisy, but that's to be expected from an aggressive Mud Tire.

Damn, here's hoping they start producing the oddball size I want again soon. Would've loved to had them come in 2 weeks ago.
