I'm a very indecisive person, especially when it comes to wheels and tires. I keep going back and forth between wheels. Not wanting something that is super flashy but still stands out and looks nice.

Thinking about these wheels:

Fuel Vector D579's 18x9's +1 Offset

For a tire, I'm probably going with Cooper SST Pros. Sized in 305/70r18s

I found a place that actually has them both in stock as well... surprisingly.

Thoughts?

I have Cooper STT Pros on NV305 HD Methods. I probably will only get 25 0r 30K miles out of the set and they are rotated every 3-5K.

They were not that loud new...but are now after 15K miles. The Methods have held up well and clean up nice.

Check my profile PIC. I have 295/70R18s and would definitley go at least 305 next time.

My next tire is gonna be Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 35x12.50 (also made by Cooper....Now owned by GoodYear)

I cannot make a wheel/tire decision either. I think the d579's look tough, looks like Fuel's version of a method nv 305. Maverick d436 are fairly basic but tough looking too imo.

I am curious from what I know a 305 is 33.8" tall so less than the 35's that came stock or theoretically they are. 315's are 35's or about that. I went 37s on 18. did you want to go a little less? or its not that much so who cares? Personally I believe 120% in Nitto's

I am a fan of the OEM Tremor wheels so I think these look nice. They have a similar look but a little bit cleaner imo + you get the extra width!

Curious as to why this version of fuels over near identical methods nv 305s?

Eh, not sure. They look a little different and everyone has the methods.

The Vector d597 HD version is a little different than the pic I posted above, for the better imo.

I've found that each tire in 305/70r18s are sized a little different. Custom offsets has the specs for the Cooper sst pros listed right at 35"x12.5"

305/315 are gonna be how wide the tire is. It all depends on that second number for how tall they are.

You are correct brain cramp on my end.

The Methods are getting more and more popular. I run them because they are very concentric when road force balanced, and they are lighter weight than the others -- some very much so.

All depends on what you’re looking for, myself I like a 10” wide wheel one the way it looks and two in my mind I can’t justify the cost of a 9” wide that’s just a tad over stock but that’s me

Not always. Below are the wheels and specs I’m interested in:
Black Rhino Primm
17x9
28lbs
125.1 bore

Method 704(non HD)
17x8.5
32.3lbs
130.1 bore

I’m leaning more towards the BR because it’s lighter, wider and hub centric. Hub centric vs lug centric is not a deal breaker as my off roading is slow speed around deer lease. But my research tells me hub centric is a lot better.

I keep coming back to 18" black rhino wheels. Then I put them in the "cart" then I talk myself out of it. Then I look at 20" black rhino wheels and consider some extremely aggressive (mud) tires mounted on the 20's. Then I just say, "Screw it - the stocks are fine."

It a vicious cycle.

You might know something i dont, because i could not find Fuel Vector S597 HD version. They are rated at 3500, similar to methods NV 305s non hd version. Method NV HD are rated at 4500.

But here is something I did find. Methods NV 305s weight 34lbs while Fuels weight 42lbs for similar wheel spec. 8lbs more per wheel is a big deal.

Which BR end up in your cart - arsenals , axles , or armory?:)
