I picked up our Airstream today after getting its annual safety inspection and new tires. Now I need to find time to dial in my WDH before the first long haul.

My initial take on the Hellwig is it did a pretty good job stabilizing the rear end.

Just under three weeks old, added Built Right seat latch, shorty antenna, CPlay2air dongle and a black on black Stars and Stripes license plate frame... and so it begins.....

More like what didn't I do to my Tremor today.
The OEM front wheel well covers I ordered came in. I must say, for $165 these things are crap-tastic! Dirty, thin, and cheap plastic. Cant be more that a dollar's worth of plastic in these. Needless to say, i'll be returning them.
I took a closer look and the existing composite/felt wheel well liners in the front actually look pretty stout. I may leave them as is, or seek aftermarket parts.

The picture shows them in the condition they arrived taped together on my door step.
(The Diesel can is for my Orange tractor)

It's so hard to clean that felt from mud and road salt... I agree the liners seem cheap but they serve a great purpose.

Used it to transport my mountain bike and 10 month Golden Retriever to hit some trails. So pleased that my XXL size bike fits length-wise in this bed!

Love that Gunner Kennel my pup rides in one as well, he’s a bit spoiled though as he rides in the cab thanks to the fold up seats and flat floorboard!

I thought the same thing until I took the gas powered pressure washer to them and presto !!

The felt or "soft" versions look kinda weird but I think they help dampen road noise too.

I just installed the Fox ATS 2.0 steering stabilizer. It wasn't what I was expecting. I was thinking the steering would be stiff and numb. It was actually pretty loose. Even the Focus steering felt stiffer. The numbness was definitely there, though. The adjustment screw basically sets the numbness level. I set it 5 clicks below full numb nut. I'll drive it around some this weekend to take it through its paces. I can tell you this much, though. At full mind numbing level, there was no road feedback through the steering wheel driving around my neighborhood.

PS. I forgot to mention that the old stabilizer isn't fun to get out. I'm glad I happen to have a ball joint puller in the garage.
