Rotella t6 oil shortage ?

The link didn't work for me, but if that is the diesel motor oil, I bought a couple of cases after seeing it met the Ford standards.

I was in Napa the other day to get some oil and the counter person told me the issue is the jugs, not the oil. Manufactures are having a hard time getting the material needed to make the jugs.

It’s a combination of lack of certain additives for the oil and the plastic jugs

That works, 2.5 gallon is still cheaper per unit though. Last time they only had 1 gallon jugs.

I got the 1 gallons so I don't have to open the second 2.5 to do an oil change (we need 3.25+/- for an oil change). For me, its worth the $3 to keep the second 2.5 sealed up.

Not sure but I ordered a 55 gallon drum about 3 months ago and still nothing

Tried Tractor Supply couple months ago. Order went through for a couple gallons then promptly cancelled ten min later. Be nice if they could tell you if it was “out of stock” beforehand

Same happened to me with TSC and a T6 order I placed in November. Though it took three calls for them to refund me.

At this rate I'm just going to order a 30 gallon Amsoil drum next time.

Just picked up 4 gallons off the shelf at Oreilly. Picked up 3 gallons at the same place a couple months ago. 31 bucks. I can’t find it anywhere else in stock. Have enough for two oil changes now at least. Will continue to buy when I come across it.

It’s FedEx they could damage the air in an empty box.

Or break anything that is truly unbreakable.

I can’t remember the last time FedEx delivered a package that didn’t look like it weathered the gates of hell or the beaches of Normandy.
