Hey guys,

Long shot but I figured I'd post here to see if anyone has a GFC Platform Topper they're selling or thinking about selling. I've posted this on the GFC forum and figured I'd see if I can buy a used one over the next few months, if not I'll order a new one lol.

Anyways, hoping to find a black or grey exterior with extra windows on the canopy and tent.

Fits a current short bed super duty!

Offer $8K and take it home.

Yeah I definitely wants a lot for it, I just seen his post on the GFC forum as well so I'll reach out.

They are a decent topper, but not nearly the quality of product as the AT Habitat I had on my Power Wagon, albeit the FWC has better lines. I think they are a good buy at $7K which is what they started at a few years back when they launched. $11K for an optioned one now is silly.

I’ve got a fully optioned Lone Peak I’ll be picking up in a few weeks. From everything I’ve seen on design and build it SEEMS to be a better optioned and designed camper for less money. However the wait time is a bit to deal with. I’ll be $8500 into a very well optioned camper with lighting, controls, vent, inverter, battery management, molle panels, etc. The only thing it won’t come with is the actual battery. I could’ve optioned it with the battery, but their largest option was 100Ah. I’ll purchase one separately as I’d like at least 160-180 Ah if not 200.

I considered Lone Peak but the bed size (even pulled out) and not having a modular floor kind turned me off of them. I really like everything else they have though.

So I owned GFC #41 from way back in the good old days. I paid $5000.00 and the dude who started the company drove it on a trailer and delivered and installed it in NY. Lol man times have changed.

That said we actually sold it pretty quickly because i found the modular panels pretty annoying. Switched over to an Alu-Cab that has a bed that lifted on struts and a smaller platform that could stay up all night. The small platform being raised allowed heat to come up or me to get down without having to move everything.

The GFC was Bomber and the guys that own the company are awesome. But it just ended up being a hassle for our uses.
