Been looking for what I have now come to realize is a bit of a unicorn since last November and growing frustrated. Have multiple dealerships on lookout for it but with the lack of luck so far, one of the associates suggested this forum as a place I might entice someone to sell

So I’m looking for the following:

2022 King Ranch (year and trim is not negotiable)
White over stone is first choice
Black over stone is second choice
White mono or black mono is 3rd choice
Must have:
6.7 powerstroke
Tremor
KR ultimate package with power steps
Clearance lights
Adaptive cruise
Clean carfax & not originally sold in Canada
Spray in bed liner
Under 30,000 miles or darn close


Anything else additionally on the window sticker would be fine with me

Tonneau cover and/or factory winch is great but not a deal breaker

Preferably within 1000 miles of 34997 zip code (SE Florida)

Unfounded fear that the conversion from KM to miles is is rolled back and or altered when it’s performed.

On the little more founded end, they seem to command less on trade in when it comes that time. Or at least it does at the dealership I usually deal with

I know someone who's selling a 22' Loaded already has lift and some Baja Lighting and is under 10k miles, but it's not a KR and it's charcoal grey.

I'm surprised the Halogen Headlights or the 23+ Tremor wheels weren't the deal breakers lol and is it really a Tremor if there's no bed sticker telling everyone it's a tremor?

Found the window sticker. I saw that it didn’t have the cab lights, but I figured it would have the adaptive cruise being a KR. Cab lights can be installed aftermarket, but you would have to check with the dealership for the adaptive cruise.

Coming from experience, I would highly recommend staying on track with want you want. It look me a better part of a year to find the truck that "checks all the boxes" and I couldn't be happier. Even found it in my own backyard (7 miles away).

Damn! $72K for almost 72k Miles. Shit a dollar per mile. I'll put my 2020 Loaded Lariat with Carli E-Venture and Innov8's for that and I only have 60k miles

I appreciate the feedback but I guess fortunately for me it’s a want and not a need. So although I’ve become a little frustrated in my search, at least it’s not something I HAVE to find by tomorrow

Haha! Truth be told the first pic I saw I noticed no cab lights, jumped to the interior pics and noted the steering wheel controls. Glossed right over the obvious tell it wasn’t an Ultimate packaged truck

Lack of a bed liner I could probably be convinced to concede on but I would argue there’s nothing easy about drilling the roof of the truck after the fact multiple times without it leaking down the road. I just don’t trust anyone to do it right, myself included. And the aftermarket no drill options just seem gimmicky to me

Yea, unfortunately it’s missing quite a few options of my must have list. Some of them very cost prohibitive after the fact.

I hear you on that! With the cost of these things nowadays it’s hard to justify compromising. Who knows? Maybe one will pop up next week or maybe never will. Hoping for the former or for Ford to pull their heads out of you know where and go back to the KR being allowed to have all the bells and whistles. I would have considered 2023+ but when they took away things like projector headlights and LED tails just to name a few; they really turned me off to going new.

Plus if I’m honest, at this point I still think the 2022 is a better looking truck. 23’s are admittedly growing on me from an appearance standpoint though.

Adding OEM clearance lights isn't too bad of a job. There's even an outfit that makes upgraded bottom seals for the OEM clearance lights.
