Wireless Charging cooking phone

Good afternoon everyone. Whenever I use my wireless charging for the iPhone X it overheats the phone and within 5 minutes the phone shutdowns due to overheating. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the opposite issue. I have a 2022 with a 12 pro max and I've noticed my doesn't charge at all. It's almost useless.

That is weird how different it is, mine seems to charge great but I just can't use it due to cooking the phone. So much for wireless CarPlay since it drains the battery. Back to the good ole usb cord lol

Mine doesn’t seem to charge either rather it maintains… iPhone 12 mini

I noticed my Samsung Galaxy S20+ was pretty warm after being on there for 30 minutes yesterday. Way warmer than the usual plug in charger or wireless charger I have at home. I'll pay closer attention to what percentage it's getting to and how hot it gets.
