Windshield Replacement Cost??

Does anyone know what the new windshields with the heated area at the bottom, and in the center for the sensor/camera cost?
I'd imagine they are not cheap.
Just trying to decide if i should add glass coverage.

Depends on the deductible I guess.

They are most likely going to retail for over $250 Canadian which is usually a glass deductible.

When I lived in Alberta I couldnt keep a fresh winshield for more than a week and just gave up on trying.

Replacements would be chewed within a week of a new windshield.

I guess you gotta decide for yourself if its worth it, but I just said fuck it and kept the winshields until I couldnt see out of them.

Got tired or cracking new ones after a week or two.

Yes it's a struggle for sure. If i get 2 years out of a windshield I'm doing well.
The cost for glass coverage from a company that specializes in glass in Alberta is "$288/year, and the deductible is $50".
It is with a seperate company...so claims don't make your auto insurance go up.
But i don't know how often your allowed to change it.
I could replace the windshield in my 2015 F350 for $200, so i just replaced it out my own pocket as that's relatively cheap.
I'm thinking this one will be $600+ ??

my F150 for m,y 2012 was $480 for oem .... and it was just a normal windshield

I have had 1 repair and now I have been hit again and I need a new windshield......for the few bucks it costs.....hell yes.

Oh I just noticed how much it costs you.....that is almost what I pay for my whole 6 month premium with full coverage and zero deductible glass....wow!

Im paying $2300 plus a year.
But that's commercial insurance with 2 million coverage
