Looking at ordering a SD Tremor, but the new 150s have some sweet tech. A 150 Tremor might be the best of both worlds. Or pull the trigger on a 22 SD and trade it in a year or two when the new version comes out.

ANYWAY... everything I’ve read says the F-150 Tremor “will be available this summer”. It’s almost summer, and I’ve not seen anything about trim levels, pricing, order dates, etc. Anyone have more info, rumors, etc?

2022 SD will have the updated interior, including the bigger screen.

Depends if you want to haul/tow heavy loads, want a big block or diesel, or if you are OK with a smaller hauling/smaller engine F150.

No way Im paying that kind of money for a half ton

I don't truly NEED a super duty, but have always wanted one. I love the idea of having a truck that can do anything I want it to.

With that said, half ton Fords have come a long way... built in generators, drive assist, etc. If I could get a SD with the same bells and whistles, it would be a no-brainer.

I actually struggle to see why half ton trucks exist today unless you need the 5.5 foot bed and/or slightly better fuel economy.

They're nearly the same length as a heavy duty for the same cab/bed configuration, the same width, and not quite as tall. But have massively reduced payload capacity and are just a lot less truck.

There's a very fair argument that I would be fine with another half ton, but I'm buying a Super Duty because why not. I can't see the reason to get a half ton today other than the ultra short bed.

Agreed, for the most part. I just wish the SD could drive itself and power my house in a hurricane ?
