Has anyone been able to successfully place a order for a new 2022? I went to the dealership ship yesterday to get a price and possibly place a order and they couldn’t even come up with a price due to the system not letting them add the Tremor pkg and black appearance pkg together. I have a appointment after work with another dealership so maybe I’ll have better luck tonight. My salesman I dealt with last night told me it was probably just a glitch in the system. I haven’t heard of anyone actually getting a order placed have you?

Order Banks open in June at your local Ford store. Make sure they have Super Duty allocations. There will be a pent up demand so it may be a big ask.

I was just at my dealership and they told me they can't get any Super Duty trucks or Transits right now.

Order banks are already open for the 2022 super duty. Several on blue oval forums have already ordered 2022's and have posted details. The builds for 2022 start june 1st

Hmmm my salesman that I was supposed to have a appointment with today (2nd one I tried) just left a msg saying

“Hi B..... from ..... here. It looks like the order banks haven't quite finished processing yet and we don't seem to have the 2022 order banks open. Give me a few days to make sure everything straitens out, I don't want you to come out to place an order you can't actually place yet.”

which is right inline with the other dealership I went to Monday night told me.

I just Ordered mine this afternoon just posted build sheets here

Is it a possibility that dealerships are “taking” orders but not actually “placing” them because the order banks aren’t actually open yet? Do they have the orders and are ready to place them as soon as the order bank will allow them to perhaps? I have never been to a dealership that wouldn’t take my money/order if they could. I just find it very odd that both the dealerships would turn me away if in fact they could put a order in for me.

They may be open but nobody has allocations for Super Duty Trucks. So be careful where you do business.

My dealership said they would not order one until June and they did not have or expect to have an allocation for a Super Duty until then. The few Super Duty trucks on the lot are marked at sticker with not any room for negotiation. Pretty rare for those guys.

How do you find out if a dealership has allocations for super dutys. Do u just have to take their word for it?
Mine just tells me, so I took their word for it. The Salesman probably won't know but the mangers do. So just ask. I doubt they will bs you. I would not recommend any deposit of more than $500.00. Make sure if you locate one or change your mind they can refund it. Especially if there is a delay on the order and you want out. If you just plain change your mind and get a Ram or Chevy then I guess they keep it.

Ordered today. Order guide and unscheduled order bank is open. Dealers are being difficult.

I sat with My dealer and we went thru the hole thing in the order bank and watch him hit enter/send

I have tried 3 different dealers, two with some of the largest allocations in the state and they will not order one yet. In fact one said they will not even get any 2022s until late summer early fall at the earliest. I am no sure what to believe, especially since some are able to place an order.

3/15 order guide given to dealers. 3/15 unscheduled order bank open all pricing available in dealer order system. 6/1 production starts and after 5 days perfect production retail orders begin scheduling. first 22my orders will likely reach dealers August or September. Allocations are a non issue with F series. They will have allocations. This isn’t a GT500 or a Bronco Warthog. If your dealer won’t order consider calling outside your area until you find someone that wants your business.

I successfully placed my 2022 order today.

Last week I was dead set on ordering an XLT but begrudgingly upgraded to a Lariat once I found out Sync4 wasn't an option for XLT. Means I no longer need to worry about swapping out halogens for LEDs and a number of minor projects I was planning - but still trying to wrap my head around the added price.

This is mostly baseless speculation, but I think what's happening is super duty supply is so low and demand is so high that Ford is telling dealers their usual "dealer stock" orders won't get filled until the fall. And pretty much for every year before 2020, the vast majority of super duties sold to customers has been dealer stock. So Ford tells the fleet manager "your dealer stock orders won't get filled until the fall" and they hear "no 2022 super duties until the fall." But Ford will gladly schedule customer and fleet orders ahead of time - they'd rather build trucks that already have a buyer rather than build trucks that risk sitting on a dealer's lot for 6 months.

I would bet you're pretty darn close if not dead on. I had to tell my dealer when the order could be entered and when production would start. shout out to the un-named blue oval forum member for providing the schedule. the dealers are clueless, even the inventory managers. my dealer was shocked when he confirmed my information was correct. that said, if you find a dealer that'll go just a little beyond what they think they know you'll get a truck ordered now so you can sit and wait with those of us who already ordered :)
