I have 0 issues with the OEM tires and wheels, I think they look great on the black truck. However, I'd like to see the sidewall of the tire come out flush to the edge of the wheel wells. Has anyone used wheel spacers to get that look? And please don't show me any pictures of different wheel setups Biden won't give me a stimulus check... Lol.

LOL, I don't get one of Biden's checks either and frankly he can keep it!!!

With that said, personally I still would just look at upgrading your wheels, never been a fan of spacers. Give her a new look instead of some makeup!! ha ha

I have 1.25” hub centric bora’s on my tundra with no issue. I agree that the wheels need to come out a tad on the f250. Sometimes when I follow one it reminds me of the railroad trucks with the narrow wheel base to drive on the tracks.

I agree. I simply want to have the rear match the front in terms of offset. I’ve used quality spacers in the past (Hubcentric) without any balance issues. I’ll likely go with these. Pricey, but tolerance is twice that of DOT standards. https://www.wheeladapter.com/product/ford-truck-1999-newer-8x170mm-wheel-spacer

I’m leaving the front as is. The rear needs 1.5” spacers. However, the OEM bolts are 2” long. If using less than 2” spacer will have to grind the stock OEM bolts down to fit flush with back of OEM Tremor rims. Not sure if I want to get into all of that. Anyone else perform this bolt trimming to fit less than 2” spacers?

Hello, just wondering. its been suggested to put 2" on the back and 1" on the front. I'm worried about changing the handling negatively. any suggestions? don't want to be grinding away the stock bolts just in case I want to go back??

also feel like 2" is a lot, will probably be about 1" at least outside the fender? anyone with lots of experience on this? my trucks a 350 7.3l tremor gasser

So…..this is a topic chewed on for some time regarding my own truck.

For what it’s worth I’m a pro-wheel spacer guy, I run them on my 4Runner and have had zero issues. But….

I decided to go with wheels and tires on the Tremor for a couple of reasons. First is the rear axle. I couldn’t find spacers that fit around the rear axle housing. Second was because of towing. I sometimes tow pretty heavy so I decided to go with wheels instead.

During my research, however, I learned something interesting. The rear is slightly narrower than the front by design. It’s something to do with stability. So, my advise (unsolicited) is to do the same to the front as to the rear to maybe keep similar geometry.

For anyone who’s interested, I’m running 18x9 +1 offset fuel beast with 35x12.5 r18 BF AT TA KO2 with zero rubbing at all. They are just a hair wider than the wheel well. Perfect in my opinion.

Good luck OP.

Thanks for the heads up, I do agree though, New wheels are probably the way to go:( just have a hard time thinking I just got the truck with stock black rims , and now to try and sell them. But this truck would look much nicer a bit wider.

Your thoughts on the front and rear is a good one. Also don’t want to start playing around with warranty issues ?

Thanks for your tips!
