10k on my Tremor and I have cracked my windshield twice. I’m 47. Been driving for a while now. Not one cracked windshield in 25 years of driving and I have cracked 4 in the last 5 years. Are they making them differently?

While living in AZ, I never had a windshield without a crack in it. Replace it, and it's cracked again in less than two weeks. Haven't had that problem anywhere else....knock on wood.

11k miles on mile and havent cracked mine .... but my f150 had a crack after a huge rock hit the window

No crack on the Tremor yet, (y) but I was a bit concerned when I moved to AZ and they asked me if I wanted windshield insurance on my cars and trucks.

YES, u need it here.

I got a big rock chip taken out of my windshield 2 weeks in, less than 1,000 miles on the truck... talk about bad luck.

Driving more miles these days leads to higher chance of rock chips.

My windshield has been fine over 25k miles but my front bumper that was replaced and painted is doing horrible, rock chips all over it. Going to make the bodyshop fix it

Since I’m supposedly in the windshield recall group. I think I’ll wait until that first chip or crack before I have them replace it.

Mines been hit twice...passed inspection so I am waiting on lucky #3...put 3 windshields on my F150.....one the first week!.......

I believe Colorado has the most rock chip incidents of any State. A few years ago, I worked there for 3 months and 8 out of the 12 rental cars I had rented got smacked by a rock while I was driving it. Many more rocks hit other parts of the cars. It was insane. Most of the time there were no other cars in sight when it happened!

I read this post and was like I was thinking out loud! Im 50, been driving for a bit as well, and inlast 6 years, Ive had to replace my explorer windshield twice, and had safelite repair it twice. I had two different F150s, each had one new windshield, one had one additional repair and the other 2 repairs. I dont work in gravel business and up until recent times, windshield cracks were few and far between. Now, seems like go for your scheduled maintenance, and its change the oil, rotate the tires and repair the windshield........ frustrating

People go there from all over the country just to get stoned...

Yes! Driving my F-150 a couple years ago, no one around, middle of nowhere, BAM! Something hits my windshield. Was it a rock or sniper fire?? Left a nice big chip in the windshield.

My '16 F150's is in good shape at 32K but our '18 Volvo's is knackered at only 25K!

Maybe you can correlate the rock chips to the setting of your adaptive cruise...

I believe it is Alaska. Hard to find vehicle without a Crack or chip there.

2 big chips in 7000 mile on my 20 Tremor. One looks like it will spread but both are not in direct view.
