Just a kid from South Carolina, being forced to move around the country in the military and fly jets. Life couldn't be anybetter. Oh... and I own a tremor.

Welcome. Nice pup

Welcome! Great picture, but I hope you didn’t bother with trying to eat those three hollywoods on the right. They are down right terrible tasting!🤣

Got more pics of the truck? Also is that a camlocker?

And you have the best kennel in the business! Nice!

It gets the job done. What brought me here is trying to figure out if it will fit on top of a Decked System and under a SmartCap.

When I had my F-150, I had a Leer with my decked system. My gunner (large size) wouldn't fit through the opening - it kept getting snagged on the metal security part I installed for the chain attachment. I never took it off, as I got rid of the F-150 so never tried after. But my measurements told me that once it was standing up inside, it would fit. That's the tricky part. If you have the extra large size, I don't think you'd have a chance. But the large size may work, if you can get it through the opening.

So an intermediate should probably work? I do not have the security part. Currently just run a bike lock through the upper attachment point. And just to confirm you had the large? Like the big ass one? Yes.... big man fits in there really snug.

Welcome!! Bring your Tremor, Gunner and lab to MS this winter and we’ll add some quality and color to your tailgate!!

I do similar, but use a heavy chain and padlock

We go where others struggle to get to, only way to really kill ‘em now days. Too much pressure in traditional areas/ways

Ahhhh let em talk. Sweet set up tho. I've given up hunting back home, would rather just put the miles on the truck to give my little man a chance to pick something up.

Sorry, my bad. I had the intermediate, not the large one. I forgot about their sizing terminology. I do believe an intermediate would fit, just may have a bit of challenge getting it thought the opening. I measured mine, and it would have sat up just barely, just couldn't get it through the opening, as I mentioned. See if you can find specs on the smartcap for interior height, and make some guesses from that. I did that and it was accurate. Hope it works out for you!

Smart cap website, for the Sport model, says side height is 23.62 inches. Not sure if thats outer or inner, but you should be fine. I think you'll have at least 9 inches of bed space still, and the gunner height, with handles, is 30 inches. I think there's enough play here to work. The opening will be the only question, but there's ways around that too
