Now that my 2nd Tremor has arrived at the dealership, planning on looking it over better than I did the first one.
What should I be on the lookout for based on known issues? This is a 2020 7.3 that was ordered in Aug after the dealership took back the last Tremor due to unknown repair date on a new truck with transmission leak.
Going in on Wednesday.

Thanks.

I would just check the paint over, especially in the door jams for proper coverage as well as dirt. All body panels for proper alignment and interior trim/seat covers for any damage or issues. I would also take it for a ride and make sure all the systems work and the truck drives okay.

+2. I had some small paint issues and the rear bumper was slightly higher on one side. Dealer fixed (as they should)

Listen for the grinding sound from the tranny when in Drive and stopped.

Look over the entire vehicle, even better take a trusted friend along with sharp eyes so that you don’t overlook any details.
Pay particular attention to paint and interior. If you got leather look for wrinkled up or loose leather seat coverings.
Don’t be in a hurry at delivery, test drive before signing papers. Have the salesperson go over and show you every option you ordered.
Most of all enjoy delivery day!

OK, tonight I took a look at the truck and first noticed the headlights were fogged up. Looked for missing paint and only saw that on the hood hinges. The interior felt damp and the windows were all fogged, hood and tailgate side gaps were off and the rear bumper was scratched. Off to a good start. Dealership said they just sprayed interior with protection and that was to explain condensation on interior glass.

My truck has seen rain, snow, sleet, road wash and sunshine in the three months I’ve had it, and I’ve NEVER seen my headlights fog up like that. Same goes for the interior for that matter.

Never had condensation on the inside of my windows like that, I would just double check your floors under the dash both sides and rear cab corners for any possible leaks just to be sure. As far as the headlights, I have had some light fog inside them at the bottom of the lens, normally after I wash it and the outside air temperature is just right. It goes away quickly once you turn the headlights on. My '15 would do this occasionally also. The hood gap can be adjusted by the dealer if it is really off. Shame about the scratches, again that should be able to be buffed out. Good luck with everything.
