What should I do? (Camera Recall)

I just got a letter in the mail today regarding the camera recall on some of our trucks that was supposed to go out in November. It says its for the front or chmsl camera. I've heard somewhere that they will replace the wiring but the paperwork says they will replace the camera. Has anyone had this done to confirm what exactly is done? I haven't had an issue yet but I should probably get it done. I'm worried that because the wiring in my truck is damaged and rigged back together along with the camera connector being glued in that they won't do the work. Not to mention that I hate dealers and the work that they do and don't really want them working on my truck. What would yall recommend

It’s just the camera not a engine rebuild. You can either get it done and not have anything happen in the future. Or wait till something goes wrong then get it fixed

ask them .... and see what they say ... you can always go to another dealer ... find one that doesn't care

Yeah I get it's relatively minor in the grand scheme of things, I'm just pretty cautious about the truck because they've screwed me too many times.

My camera went bad first day ( bed camera ) It has been on order since December. I just got the letter today.

Everything works except for the bed cam. Not a big deal I will get it replaced at some point the dealer wants the truck for a day but its a 3 hour job.
