What did you do to your Tremor today?

I wanted to put a little bit of a load on the engine to help with break in so I towed my boat a few miles to the ramp. It's not real heavy but it was the heaviest thing I had access to tow.

Nice! I've been researching those as well. Let us know what you think!
They are worth every penny. Truck rides like a Cadillac. This set up is great. I tested it at a set of railroad tracks and it felt better than my wife Tahoe. I couldn't be happier with how the truck rides on and off road. I'm in the oil field in west Texas and go down lease road here and there. Truck ran great down one today. I can't wait to get it to Big Bend.

I’ve been looking at where and how to mount the CB. I think I’ve found a place for the microphone, and where I’ll run the microphone cable and roughly where I will put the main unit behind the dash. It should look tidy and relatively uncluttered if all goes to plan.

i am just not sure yet where I will run the coax in from the engine bay into the cabin. I found what looks like a grommet at the top left of the firewall, not sure if that would work. Alternatively, i could possibly use the grommet where the gearbox selector cable goes through.

lots of looking and thinking, not much action though.

Wrapped pillars today and little chrome piece on tailgate... pillars look way better to me. Satin black 3m 2080.

Looks good! Can you help share a link for those and any tips or tricks on the install?
I wrapped the rear piece my self, super easy with a hair dryer, got the 3m 2080 (RVinyl) off of Amazon. Basically peal and stick, heat with hair dryer or really, really quick blow torch...propane. I ended up messing up the rear piece, had to do over because when trimming I cut too short and you could see chrome. I had another guy wrap the pillars, took him all of 5-7 Minutes for each pillar. A little longer on buttons. He cut one piece to cover both, Split the middle heated and worked out a couple places, then trimmed. He even covered the door buttons On drivers side and trimmed out the buttons. Keep in mind this guy does this a lot. He made it look easy, to him it was. After watching him, do not be intimidated, if you mess up, peel it off, start over With new wrap. He talked me out of matte black, he said in a hot environment it can delaminate, where satin black would not. He cleaned with alcohol ( rubbing) before starting. He is going to do my door handles on Saturday... maybe this Will help someone...

I asked about the oracle film, he suggested it don’t last as long as the 3m as mentioned above. Idk, I’m not the expert.

Now that the pillars are wrapped I added my Low profile ( not in channel) AVS dark smoke window visors, turned out good.

Ordered a new badge from iKonic Badges (link here) . Pic is off the font i chose. I chose this text because it reminded me of the text from Rush's 1980 album "Permanent Waves." Not going to put in on the side of the bed. Was thinking either bottom of driver's side door or driver's side of tailgate. Have not received as I have just placed the order. Has anyone else had experience with iKonic Badges? Found them on Instagram, but their reviews and comments seemed promising.
