Nice idea! I am going to steal this for my side by side, thanks my friend! My ultimate Lariet didn’t come with an integrated garage door opener. So I made my own remote switch button. Now my remote is not sitting around in my cup holder. I just soldier the button switch to the switch on the remote. I Velcroed the garage remote on the back of the panel below the steering wheel. Works great!

I recall on my 2013 LU that I had to search out the part number and buy the visor with Homelink myself. The connector was already above the headliner, but just blanked off from the factory.I'm floored that the Ultimate didn't include such a basic option. Any ideas why?
Kudos on installing a creative option.
Love it!! I’ve got to do this too for winter storage. Got pics of how you did the under the hood stuff? Where you put the charging transformer? Are you single or dual battery? Thanks!!Installed the Noco power inlet socket. I don't have an engine block heater, (not necessary in CA) but I do have an onboard charger for long term storage or long periods of non-use. In either case, the install is straight forward. Installing the inlet was easy because I looked up an earlier detailed install by @BroncoHooves in this thread. (Thanks Bronco!)
Here's some notes as to what I ran into:
If you drill dead center of the panel, there is a secondary tab of plastic behind the panel on the front of the truck where the hole ends up. When you drill a hole for the inlet, just keep it going until this tab is rounded out as well. There's plenty of room so the hole drill won't reach the metal behind.
The Noco instructions ask to drill a 2" hole. Since hole drills can be "sloppy" and I wanted as much plastic behind the plug as possible, I drilled a hole at 1 7/8 and cleaned it up to 1 15/16" with a barrel sander, since this is truer to the diameter of the Noco plug. (A 2"-hole saw will still work OK)
Yes, I do have two batteries. I put the charger next to the driver's side battery. The Noco Gen5 X1 is sufficient to keep both batteries fresh for long periods of time.Love it!! Did you wrap the door trim or is were those chrome strips replaced with black ones? If replacements, do you know the part numbers?Started the chrome delete. It is definitely more work than I expected!
Did you go with the BMC Hitch Bar lights? I added them with the Rigid lights and it's phenomenal.I liked the front lightbar so I added rear lights as well. The factory lights were not great in the mountains for reversing. View attachment 135977
