HD FLTRK or Ural Gear-up when Wx turns bad.
My old F-150 ball mount no long measured up... sitting lost and alone in the cavernous 3” receiver like Jonah in a whale and even with adapters it is way up in the air sadly knowing my shins would pass safely below its ability to remind me how to gasp in pain! So like most things shiny new things - this truck hungrily dug into my pocket again like a politician.

I needed a hitch quickly so options where limited for the Weight Safe WS8-3 (8” drop 3” shank) but Summit had the hitch and a lock that is keyed the same as the hitch (less keys is always a win). The kit also came with 2” & 2 5/16” stainless balls and a rubber cover for the drop lock.

Something about that huge hunk of aluminum works for me.

Been using it for years. Love it and buying new draw bar in 3” or thinking of getting the black aluminum one they have now since truck has Sport package on it.

They are very well made and have a nice finish to them. I have the 3" one.

I keep it under the back seat. ( not one of those guys who drives around with a receiver / ball all the time)
the black anodized one would be great with the sport

Yep, like mine too with the 3" shank (no rattles). And not so much really for the F250, but more for knowing the weight on my Coach (motorhome). It has a 1000Lb tongue weight limit, so this is useful.

Do you have a link for that hitch above? That thing is amazing!!

I agree, it goes in when it’s needed otherwise out of sight - saves my shin and is not a target thief.
Weight Safe

Be warned - they are SPENDY! You really have to have $$$ burning a hole in your pocket for one of these.

etrailer.com

and the weigh safe website:

This one's a bit more cost effective:

Saw these on a YouTube channel, very handy! Big truck big RV YouTube channel?

I’ve been using them for prob 5 years. I had a 2“ shank with gauge for my Raptor. When I got the Tremor, I bought the 3” shank with gauge. I love them!
