Water in taillight

I just had my driver's side taillight replaced due to shorting out of the LED due to water inside the lens. Luckily it was covered by warranty, or it would have been $1300. At least my truck passed the driveshaft inspection, so no recall issue there.

Only having my truck about two months.. I am already seeing water in my tail lights as well..
 
I had a similar issue on my Father's Tundra. I used a tiny drill bit and carefully ve tillated the base of the lexan. No more water in the tail-light.
