I have been thinking about going thru the brushless - no touch wash in the winter months here in Colorado. They are mostly 7’ height restrictions. Has anyone successfully gotten clean this way? I’m a little worried with only an inch of clearance.

Never in my life have I had a car cleaned adequately by a brushless system.

Most of the vehicles around here get a hand wash at home with a foam gun, three buckets, and the whole shebang.

Those vehicles don’t include the Super Duty. There are trash and nibs in the paint that Ford though were acceptable, so I’m not going to address them. I just run it through the car wash down the street. It’s going to get scratched, and when I trade it in the dealer won’t care if I spent ten minutes a week on it or ten hours.

I only use a touch less car wash, but I have a ceramic coating. If the truck is filthy, I do a 20-1 simple green in wheel wells etc before it gets wet. I will let it sit for 3 to 5 min(don’t let it dry) and power wash the nasty stuff off. Do not use a degreaser on the paint. I will pressure wash bugs etc off and then run it through a touch less wash. Drive it home and get water spots off with a quick detailer. I like griots. Really simple and will make your truck look great. The trick with the quick detailers is little to no pressure. Read the instructions and you’ll be fine.

My touchless wash is also 7 foot. Outside they have a clearance bar. I fit under that but didnt go into the wash yet. (just a test run) ;). Figure Ill grab a tape measure just to make sure the bar is set to the correct height. You guys were able to clear a 7 foot touchless wash without issue?

These trucks are so big I can barely use a self serve carwash and never tried full service/touchless.
I simply keep an electric pressure with foam gun plugged up and ready to go at all times........I think most of us like are trucks clean.

I do it all the time. No issues

7’ at my local touchless. No issues. About 2” of clearance left. Can’t add my backpack. Mine is Ceramic coated. Comes out clean every time. :D

Have someone weighing near the same as you sit in the driver's seat when you take your truck height measurement, might save you 1/4" or so.
