Warn ascent bumper

Yea, I think so. I wish i would have gotten the dual set up. I didn’t think about it until after getting the truck. The Warn bumper is the only one i like. After looking it Hundreds of aftermarket bumpers.
Same here. I bought the ascent hd. Because the 8274 warn is a foot forward winch and the regular on ain't made for foot forward. But it still is not supposed to fit the 8274. That's the reason I had to cut the bumper and will cut my grill to fit it in. Also my truck doesn't have the camera in the emblem.

Thanks, Please post some photos of the progress. I want to know what I’m In-store for when I go down this road. Trying to get all my ducks in a row Before i take on this project. 1st i have to get my dual battery set up. Again Thanks

If you buy a winch that fits the bumper you wouldn't have to cut anything. But I have had a 8274 and it has out pulled several lay down warn winch's and others. Plus the 150' of cable or synthetic is nice to. Used it to most of the time to cut trees around buildings and house so the line speed is killer for what I use the winch for

The Ultimate Trailer Tow Camera System and Back Up Assist is required to get the front camera and 360 view on the XLT.

That looks awesome and much more tucked from the one in the video on page one. Which part number did you buy?

This one in the video is the ascent rated for #12,000 winch. mine is the ascent HD rated for #18,500 winch.

Im taking it back off to put the lights and winch in. But I'm taking the grill out to measure what I got to cut as well so it might go in that way. You can see how tall the winch is and the 8274 also is 1.5" deep than the bumper.

I hope to get the truck back from the dealership so I can work on it this weekend

I don't have my hanging scales at the house but I did put it on the bathroom scales in the garage and it weighs 112lbs with me steading it and no brackets or the lights attached. Skid that it came on with the box had 295lbs total. But the box it came in was almost 4 foot wide by 8 foot long

I'm going to try and remember to measure the height of the front fender wells when I take it off then again once the winch lights and everything is back on together

Just to let y'all know haven't been able to work on the truck at all. Works got me working overtime. So hopefully in a little while I can start back on it

Finally got it in. Will post more pics. Picking the tools up right now

Had to cut the grill support just a little then the bottom of the grill plus under the badge. That took the longest of anything. Probably going to get some of the rubber edging for metal and go around the cuts on the grill. Chrome stayed intact when I was cutting it. Don't use a dremel on the chrome. Plastic melts under the chrome. Used hack saw and just the blade for tight spots. Zoom in on the pic of the grill support and you can see what I trimmed

I could have got the grill closer to the top of the winch but if I ever needed to mess with the wire or case I would have to pull the bumper so I cut it so I could get a wrench in

the bumper and winch look great , do you have leveling kit? or noticed any sag from the extra weight?
