Hahahahah. Man. Just got back from an absolutely epic day of paddling and fishing with the wife.
We dragged our packraft up a small creek from the pond we’re camping on. Into a much larger and deeper (over 100ft deep). Paddled and fished up the end of that one.
Portaged 1000ft to the next pond and paddled and fished to the very end of that one too.
We just got back to camp and rinsed off. I’m listening to loons sounding off and watching eagles soar overhead.
Even if I still am a loser I feel like the luckiest guy on earth to be able to do all this with my wife.
The Tramper is my gateway to all this greatness and I couldn’t feel more blessed to be in this beautiful place and have such a great community on here to share it with.
I’m not going to say specifically where I am but here’s a few hints for anyone interested.
Refreshing to hear this brother, love the attitude and gratitude! Also I am insanely jealous as I sit here today with my hands in dirty places and envision you reeling in some trout
