2020 Ford Tremor F350 7.3L platinum
I ordered a Platinum Tremor last January and the Ultimate Trailer Package that I ordered was missing. I have not gotten a straight answer from the dealership or from Ford Customer Service. It is now going on ten months and still don't know where my Ultimate Trailer Package is that I paid $725 for and need for my backup assist and monitoring my tire pressure on my RV. Does anyone here have an Ultimate Trailer Package that came with your truck?

Yes I do. I have an F250 Platinum tremor with said package, and the goodies came in the form of several ford factory-sealed transparent plastic bags. I found each of those inside of the vehicle when I took delivery.
Your dealer is shady af. Your window sticker said you got the package. Your bill of sale says you own the package. If it’s not there, your dealer has to comply. Are you putting enough pressure?

@Trämör what all comes in the package?

I was under the impression all platinum and above level super duties come with the package. Little baffled or I am misinformed

I’ll post some pictures and details here momentarily. I’m just curious, the OP bough an $80k truck and spend close to $1k on this package. And he’s been waiting for ten months for it? It doesn’t make sense. I would’ve verbally annihilated this dealership by now, what kind of crooks are they? And outside of that, how the heck did @Skilledbill wait more than 4 weeks to start kicking the gears??? At 10 months, it’s almost like you forfeited your rights.

They would have gotten a certified letter and a size 11 months ago......

I have applied a huge amount of pressure for the last 10 months. Contacted Ford Customer Service and started a case number. Have emailed the regional manager and have been to the dealership more times than I can count. I have been getting the runaround for months now. There was 40 miles on the truck with mud on the floor when I picked it up from the dealership. I think someone was joyriding the truck before I picked it up and the plastic bag was stolen. I am at a loss. I cannot buy the package from any parts department. If I could do that, I would, and then take the dealership to small claims court to be reimbursed my $725.

Maybe Ford determined they were having a problem with parts disappearing. I received the truck I ordered in October and the Ultimate Trailer Package parts were all in a sealed box with my VIN on it delivered to the dealer separately from the truck. Much like the winch gets delivered. I wonder if someone lifted the parts and your dealer doesn't want to eat it so they're putting you off.

I thought the Ultimate Trailer Tow Package came with the High Capacity Towing option for $2785? I did not know it was available as a separate option for only $725. Maybe it is a Platinum option, as I ordered a Lariat for the Blackout package.

I think folks are getting confused in this thread.

It sounds to me like you are missing the 'accessory camera and tpms' (user placed camera/tpms) system that mounts to the trailer and plugs into the 12 pin plug of the truck.

I think others are reading this that the truck didn't come with the Ultimate camera system.

Maybe we need to start a pinned forum that calls out these shady dealers by name.

You might be right! I am trying to figure out if he is missing something I did not order, as I did not see it as a separate option when building a fully-optioned Lariat. I have a TPMS system that came with my TT, so it would be nice if they can be incorporated into the Tremor dash. Right now, I have a separate small screen I sit on the dash of my Raptor to view the tire pressure on my trailer wheels.

I agree with hedge and I think I am guilty of spreading misinformation here. I did some research after I read your thread in other Ford forums, and while not conclusive yet, here’s the gist of it:
The Ultimate Trailer Tow package is really more of a factory-installed hardware/software thing. As stated in the answer i quoted here, it’s a bunch of activated features that otherwise aren’t there. It does come standard on some trims, including platinum. Now the “peripheral/auxiliary” material you get with it appears to really just be a bunch of cables and sockets (and I am not sure if those are actually part of it - see my pictures of what came with my truck).

mare you saying you are missing those software and hardware enabled features or are you indeed talking about the customer placed TPMS/Camera parts? Those are not part of the ultimate trailer tow package and have to be purchased separately.

My truck has 35 miles straight from ford. They likey test a few at the factory for QC

I have it, the kits in bags just like shown. I don't use it. I probably should but haven't felt the need. My problem is I have too many trailers. not sure which one to use it on.

Which package did you order to get the parts in the kit?

What you have pictured comes with the 5th wheel prep package, at least that is how it was explained to me. You show the yaw kit front and back that is attached to the trailer side of the 5th wheel hitch and then plugged into the port in the bed of the truck that is installed as part of the 5th wheel prep kit. The other is the tailgate delete pack that is used to cap off the plugs when unplugging all the crap involved in removing the tailgate.

Came in the back seat of my Truck

I ordered an ultimate Sport Lariat. with all the fixings minus cab clearance lights.

What “parts” are we talking? Are you saying you got the 369 degree view camera, CHMSL camera & light in a bag in your backseat? Or the trailer tpms & customer-placed camera? The latter two are NOT part of the Ultimate Trailer Tow Package.
