Looks homemade. If I were going to drill holes in my fenders I would place the lights on the side above the badge and in front of the mirror.

They are a necessity in rural areas where I am. They have saved me more times than I can count.

While I don't care for a-pillar lights in an aesthetic sense, I find them extremely useful in rural areas and that's why I have them. The one's pictured above are rough but more power to whomever made them if that's what they want on their truck. I don't care for the small ones in the mirrors shown a few pics up, I've always found those tacky and underpowered but some love them as proven above. Different strokes......

To me personally this placement of the ditch lights looks a lot worse than the picture LunchBox posted above. I would be embarrassed to run something like that on my truck in that spot, it has no business being there.

But this again just goes to show to each their own. Function is more accepted, form is highly subjective.
