Tx-Tremor-6.7's Carbonized Gray Blackout Build

Very cool build. I also got my wheels and tires from TIRELINK. Those guys are awesome!! I live about 2 miles away from them. I already talked to Dana over at WPS about doing my lift on my truck when I get ready, I just need to pull the trigger and order the parts. Mine is a gasser and I’m just doing a front level so for now those parts don’t seem to be backordered.
Thanks for the info about Signville, I’m gonna check them out for a few pieces that I need done. And again congrats on an outstanding build!! Your truck seems to be the envy of the Forum right now. Haha!
John over at WPS does excellent work! He is very detailed oriented and you can discuss various options with him before making your final decision on parts and installation. He helped me choose the correct items for my airbag install, as this is my first truck to have them.

Signville is right next to WPS, so he came and got my truck while they were doing the suspension work making it very easy to get everything done at the same time.

Looks great. I was debating the bed rug or mat ad well. i haul pallets sometimes so I was leaning towards the mat so nothing shifts. only if retrax would ship my cover Now.

Love the 17’s and meaty tires on this thing.

Yes, the ride is great on the 37x17s and the extra sidewall height gives the truck much better small bump compliance. It almost rides as good as my old Gen 2 Raptor on 37s...

Yep, I like the bed mat to keep things from sliding and it is much softer on the knees when crawling around back there.

My truck build is almost done, so I wanted to get the current items posted while I have time this weekend. One of my main goals was to make the truck very comfortable on the highway when towing my 7000 lb Travel Trailer. I will do some very mild off road driving, but nothing too crazy in an 8000+ lb truck. I also wanted to blackout every possible item on the exterior, so the truck is only Gray and Black, while preserving the factory headlights and taillights for maximum visibility.

I added the Dometic CCF-T Console Refrigerator to my truck over the weekend. I paid $455 for the fridge when they were having their Memorial Day sale, but the price is back to $599.

Dometic CCF-T

It fits perfectly in the console and you cannot hear it running over the sound of the 6.7L engine. It holds two 6-packs of cans on top of each other or six bottles of water with about 2" of room above them. It gets down to 40-50F in 90 minutes and takes about 4 hours to get down to 32 degrees. You can set Forscan to leave your Power Point in the console on for up to 8 hours after turning off the truck.

I am going to set mine at 6 hours because I discovered the fridge will kill a single battery in about 10 hours. (See my testing in the thread below)

I did quite a bit of cold and battery testing which I talk about in the following thread:

Dometic Fridge Testing and Review

Nice rig. All that looks left to to is the grid emblems. ?

Ok, grill emblems, I got it.

This Ford SD with the Lariat Black package is the first vehicle with a black emblem from Ford (ie. Non-Blue Oval) on the front and back, so I was planning to leave them as is. The small amount of “black” chrome surround is not shiny enough to annoy me... :D

Hey, do you ever venture out west toward the Hill Country? Let me know if you do. Thanks

Hey, do you ever venture out west toward the Hill Country? Let me know if you do. Thanks

Not that often anymore. I owned a second home at Canyon Lake for 10+ years, but we sold it when our kids all graduated from college and we found we were only using it once or twice a year. With the pandemic, we wished we would have kept the house because it was a great place to work remotely and have a good change of scenery. We loved to visit Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Blanco, Comfort, Bourne and of course, New Braunfels Schlitterbahn, the Guadalupe River and San Antonio river walk in the summers! :)

We do not have any immediate plans to visit the hill country at this time, but just thinking about it makes me want to go back for a visit.

My Iconic silver tremor coms-in next week...just sold my 2018 raptor...taking my 17" NV from my raptor putting terra ridge G2 37" on with the Carli level....your truck looks great and solidified my choices ...ty

Thanks! You are taking 17" NV from your Raptor and putting 37" Terra Ridge 37s on them for the Tremor? Sorry, is 17" NV a wheel?

METHOD NVs ...sorry
Ok, that is what I thought. Your Raptor wheels will not fit on a Tremor due to incompatible lug patterns. The Raptor only has 6 lugs and the Super Duty Tremor has 8 lugs.
