My truck build is almost done, so I wanted to get the current items posted while I have time this weekend. One of my main goals was to make the truck very comfortable on the highway when towing my 7000 lb Travel Trailer. I will do some very mild off road driving, but nothing too crazy in an 8000+ lb truck. I also wanted to blackout every possible item on the exterior, so the truck is only Gray and Black, while preserving the factory headlights and taillights for maximum visibility.

Factory Special Order: (Holiday Ford, North of Dallas, TX)
2021 Tremor F250 Diesel Carbonized Gray w/ Black Leather
Lariat Ultimate, Lariat Black, High Cap Trailer w/ Cameras
Rapid Heat, Heated Rear Seat, Heated Steering Wheel (Yeah!)
NO Moonroof and NO Power Running Boards!

All of my suspension work was done at Woodlands Performance and Suspension in Spring, Texas. If you are in the Houston Texas area, I highly recommend their shop!

The wheels and tires were bought at Tire Link in Spring. Texas.

The Black vinyl accents and the awesome Black Tremor stickers were done at Signville in Spring, Texas. He has the Tremor pattern, so he can make the bed stickers and ship them you. He said to use a heat gun to remove the old ones, clean off any residue, and install the new ones.

The Black Powerstroke badges on the doors... did you paint yours, or replace with aftermarket?

If you replaced, where did you find them and how easy was it to remove the factory ones??

also, the hood black out looks awesome and I may have to copy you!!!

I have painted badges in the past, but I decided to buy them for my Tremor. I found them on E-Bay first, but when the guy was out of stock, I bought these on Amazon for $48, which was $7 cheaper. After looking at the photos, it turns out it was the same seller.

Black 6.7L and Powerstroke Badges

I had my vinyl guy remove the old ones and replace them with the new ones. He said it was an easy job when he used a heat gun to warm them up and a fishing line string to remove.

Feel free to copy the hood design as I stole the idea from another member who had his painted. I did not want to paint it because the vinyl was cheaper and can be removed.

Nice setup, the truck looks awesome!

My favorite build. Must say I’m a little jealous I can’t make my carbonized gray look that good. Where did you get the black tremor decals?

You can make CG look good, just add the items as you have time. I knew I was going to black it out when I ordered it, so I made sure I had as little work to do as possible by getting the Lariat Black package.

The bedside decals were made for me by the company who did the rest of the vinyl work. I searched online and on this forum, but I was not able to find anything I liked. He has the pattern from my truck, so he can make them in any color you want. I chose to do mine with Gloss Black and a clear overlay, but he can also do them as individual letters. Ask for Kevin.

Awesome build and I love seeing well-thought-out upgrades....certainly gives me a few ideas on the direction of further exterior changes to my own Carbonized Grey TREMOR.

Thanks for posting.

Thank you! The planning of the upgrades was an enjoyable distraction while I waited the 3 months for my truck to be built.

Here is what I had in my garage before the truck even arrived! (which did not include the Carli suspension, wheels/tires or ADD bumper that were shipped directly to the installer)

Exactly! I did the same thing and my shop looked the same. Parts from BD, AFE and the Ford Accessories website. I ordered all the wire to match the color code BD uses, Fiberglass wire loom/sheathing, relays, Deutsch connectors and more stainless fasteners. Lots of little details to cover so everything is incredibly clean and trouble-free over the long haul. My TREMOR has been a great distraction to waiting for parts for the custom Harley my boys and I are building.

Your truck is off the charts (SHARP)..... love the rim and tires. Did you black out your door emblems? Very nice ride ?

Thanks! Yes, I purchased black 6.7L door emblems on Amazon for $48. See the details in post #9 above this one.

Super awesome build!
Here is what I might do if it was my Tremor:

Rear bumper. IMO if you do a front bumper then you should also do a rear bumper.

Finish on bumpers. I don't care for the finish that the aftermarket bumpers have from the factory. I would love to see them in Carbonized Gray.

Widebody. I think that doing a widebody kit on this would be amazing. It is definitely not must do and your tires would be inside the fenders which you might not like.

Just my thoughts. None of this needs to be done, it is already a great build! I really like your choices for everything, great job!

Thanks for your thoughtful reply.

I looked hard at the ADD Stealth Fighter rear bumper, but decided I did not like it or any of the ADD rear bumpers enough to buy one. As for the color, I am fine with the semi-rough black paint on the ADD, as it matches the look of the running boards.

For the front, I wanted to add several sets of lights, so I needed something besides the factory bumper to make them work. For the rear, I only wanted a chase light for the trails and lights to help when I was hooking or unhooking from my camper at night. The flush mount BD lights in the rear bumper fit the bill, so I opted to skip an aftermarket rear bumper.

Coming from 10+ years of Raptor driving, I am not a fan of making the SD Tremor look like a giant Raptor, so I will keep the factory bedsides for now. Plus, my Raptors were really wide and the Tremor makes it a “little” easier to park in narrow spots.
