Tx-Tremor-6.7's Carbonized Gray Blackout Build

Ok, that is what I thought. Your Raptor wheels will not fit on a Tremor due to incompatible lug patterns. The Raptor only has 6 lugs and the Super Duty Tremor has 8 lugs.
Spaced on that ...RIMS are up for sale now...will probably go same route for the 250 will 17" Method NV fit with the calipers ?

Yes, several people, including myself, are running 17" wheels and they fit just fine over the calipers. When they do the wheel balancing with weights, make sure they do not stack the weights as two weights on top of each other will rub on the calipers.

Going to start searching this weekend for a place that can ship with them mounted and balanced with sensors and ready to go on the truck ...will make sure they are aware of the weights ...the Carli level is going to take 4 weeks to come in so I will have a couple weeks to shop this ....ty

Awesome build and I love seeing well-thought-out upgrades....certainly gives me a few ideas on the direction of further exterior changes to my own Carbonized Grey TREMOR.

Thanks for posting.

Me too, awesome build.

My truck build is almost done, so I wanted to get the current items posted while I have time this weekend. One of my main goals was to make the truck very comfortable on the highway when towing my 7000 lb Travel Trailer. I will do some very mild off road driving, but nothing too crazy in an 8000+ lb truck. I also wanted to blackout every possible item on the exterior, so the truck is only Gray and Black, while preserving the factory headlights and taillights for maximum visibility.

were you able to notice any difference with the Carli swaybar?

were you able to notice any difference with the Carli swaybar?
Yes, the Carli sway bar solves the problem of hitting a large bump with a single front tire and have the jolt transferred to the other side of the truck. The truck absorbs awkward bumps much better than the Factory setup and the ride quality on the road is improved by the lighter spring rate of the sway bar.

What’s the overall height
Of this beast?
Sorry, just saw your question. The highest part of the truck is the rear cab right above the window at 84". When you measure to the top of the two antennas, it is 86".

I have an 8' door in my garage, so it fits with plenty of room to spare, but it will not fit in a typical 7' tall garage door.

My wife is only 5'-0", so she has been asking me about adding a step to my truck on her side to make it easier for her. After reading about how others have done it, I decided to add the Rhino step to my passenger side running board. The steps are not made for the Tremor running boards, but they do a great job of providing a 6" lower step for her to get in and out.

I bought the GO Rhino Drop Step, the Black Flat Head Bolts and Black Nylon Nuts on Amazon:

GO Rhino Drop Step

Black M8-1.25x60mm Flat Head

Black Nylon Nuts M8-1.25

I lined up the step in the best position for her to get in and out of the truck, and then I drilled the 4 holes in my running board. I lined up the front holes with the solid part of the running board so the bracket below would not be visible.

Rhino-Holes.jpeg

I used a tapered drill to make the holes larger at the top, so the flat screw caps would sit flush with the running boards.

Rhino-Drill-Bolt.jpeg

The GO Rhino kit comes with two sets of bottom brackets for each side of your truck. Since I was only planning to use one of the steps on one side, I stacked the two brackets to give me another .75" of step below my running board. I bought the same size threads on my black bolts, so I could thread the first bracket tight up against the running board for stability. I drilled the threads out of the second set of brackets, so they would slide on easily.

Rhino-Underside.jpeg

The 50mm bolts were just long enough to pass through both brackets with enough room for my black washers and black nylon hex nuts.

Rhino-Underside-Bolts.jpeg

The Flat head bolts fit perfectly in the tapered holes, so the running board is smooth on the top.

Here is the measurement for how much lower the step sits. My wife says it is perfect for her and makes it much easier to get in and out of the truck. Happy wife, happy life!

Which wheels are those??
My wheels are 17x9 Fuel Zephyrs with a +1mm offset and 5" of backspace. Tires are 37x17x12.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

What does the DEF percentage give you the ability to do?

What does the DEF percentage give you the ability to do?
The DPF percentage is supposed to show you how dirty your filter is before it gets cleaned by a Regen. However, when I look at mine under the maintenance menu, it always shows 0%, so I do not think it is working. I must have missed a parameter in Forscan when turning it on.

nicely done on the step, looks good, i may have to add this as well. what size taper bit did you end up needing?

I used a taper bit that goes from 1/4" to 3/4". From the picture below you can see I only went down to the 1/2" mark, as that was deep enough to let the bolt head sit flat with the running board.

Such a good looking truck. is the hood stock with the vinyl on it or is that a special order item? The hood I mean not the vinyl.
