Hello all. Been lurking on here for many months. Truck has been delivered to the dealer and I’m doing the final paperwork and picking it up tomorrow afternoon. So pumped.

Ordered Jan 5th

black Lariate ultimate
7.3L gasser
Black appearance package
Winch
Dual battery
397 amp alt
Spray in bed
UTT cameras
Clearance lights
Upfitter switches
Hood deflector

I was able to see it on the lot before they did PDI

I have the truck for a few days now. It’s been great. Some getting used to. The outgoing truck was small in comparison.

the only thing that’s not a positive is at highway speed the truck feels a little twitchy. I don’t know how to properly describe it. I’ll be driving straight in the lane with no road crown or anything and eventually go to one side or the other and need a small steering input to get back to center. Totally normal. But it seems even with the smallest input on the wheel I end up going to the opposite side of the lane and back again. My outgoing truck had rack and pinion steering so it’s possible I’m just not yet used to the feel of this big truck. If others have felt this let me know so I know I’m not crazy.

Back to positive things. Every other thing about this truck just blew away my expectations.
I think the first thing I’ll add to the truck is extra reverse lights. I already have the lights. Just have to wire them to one of the up fitters.

Probably just the Goodyears breaking in. They tend to cause the truck to wander when brand new. It took about a 1,000 miles before it went away on my truck.

+1 on the wandering as the tires break in. Mine did the same thing at first but no longer does. And, +1 on the reverse lights too - I’ve done the same. Great looking truck!

That is one reason so many of us ditched the factory rubber pretty quick (6 months)

Nice truck and welcome ?congratulations

The dealer was to incompetent to install the winch themselves. So I took the parts home with the truck and did the install today. Went in great. Love the way it looks and I’m sure it will come in handy one day ( probably for someone else’s benefit)
