My father plane mechanic in the united state air corp during Korean. Our son followed him by joining the Air Force just retired after 21 yrs. My dad taught me the cleanliness is next to goddesses working on jet engines, and he would say we did in the sand.

My father, early 50's, US Air Force. Flew the B-29, KC-97. Pics are during training, the B-25 was used for multi-engine, and the T-6 for single.
