On order 2021 F 250 Tremor 6.7...Build date Jan 15 2021
Current Ride #2
A loner F-150 STX
New here on the forum and have been cruising through it. Started reading the Tremor Problems threads and I am worried about going from my Tundra TRD Pro (6th straight Toyota) that has been problem free (all of them have) to something that may be in the shop every 1500 miles. Please tell me some success stories.....lol the Tremor looks awesome but I want mine to look awesome going down the road not in the shop.

How many have had ZERO build defects and mechanical problems out of the Tremor?

I was actually about to post that I've had zero issues just to balance out some of the other threads. Every time I see someone post an issue, I go out and check my truck. No wandering tires, paint's good, Fordseniormaster did an excellent job installing the winch (if you are near central Arkansas, I would bring it to him for a winch install). Body is on straight and tight, no engine fluid or rain leaks, bolts all tight. FORScan changes with no issues. No FordPass issues. All good. Now going to look for some wood to knock on. My Tremor now fills in when the weather is not good for riding my motorcycle when I want to get away for a while and chill.

Mine has been great, only has 5K miles on the 7.3.
I did add a tuner to mine to get rid of the throttle lag, I found the lag to be dangerous.

8300 miles and owned since Aug 2020 and have had Zero issues even with the car accident everything is great .... adding the DPF filter % is great i know the filter is getting full and i will drive longer and run other things i need to do but the regen will happen when i am driving to work away as it is a 50 to 60 min drive anyways so i don't have problems with regen .... but i get 19 mpg not the 22 mpg i am used to hahaha but i love the truck and been a great truck .... did get the fuel rail issue in the mail so will get that done soon.

2020 7.3 Lariat Ultimate. 3000 KM

No real issues.. The new duratracs felt like an issue, but are now great!!

I guess if I absolutely had to make a complaint it would be a rattle inside the drivers door, but I will have that looked at on first oil change.

Drives and performs flawlessly!!

7K miles, check engine light came on and dealership just had to update some program and I got the rear BED camera recall. Mechanically no problems, ALL GOOD!

I only have 150 miles on my tremor 6.7, so far so good. Only issues I seen were rail dust and tire pressure needed adjusted. I go through cars like crazy and I never been more happy with a vehicle.

You gotta remember most of the vocal people are the ones with issues. As with any forum. I had a 2018 Tacoma pro, I had absolutely nothing but problems with it. Didn’t enjoy one second of ownership.

My Tremor went into production on day 2 of 2020 Superduty Production 11/05/2019. I have 12,956 miles on my 6.7 Lariat Ultimate F250. I have had zero issues other than a dirty Air Filter. My body panels, bed, and axles are all straight and properly positioned. My Paint is perfect including under the hood. After nearly 13K there is not one squeak or rattle inside the truck. My transmission shifts smooth as butter up or down, whether I am gettin it or driving like an old man. There is not one thing that needs attention after nearly a year of ownership. I have owned a 2011 Tacoma, a Camry, a Matrix, Prius, GTI, Tiguan, F150, Escape, Edge, Fiesta, Ecosport, and now a Tremor. I shed my Toyota"s in 2014 when I bought my first new Ford since 94 (F150 FX4 Eco). My Fords have been Flawless. Only 1 repair needed out of 6 Fords over the last 7 years. That was a coolant leak around one of the turbos on my F150....which ford covered under the power train warranty and fixed it no questions asked. My Fords have been just as reliable as my Toyota's and they come with a whole lot more for the same money.

I am 100 percent convinced that the Tremor is the best built, best designed SuperDuty truck on the market......coolest looking.....with the best dealer support, in the market place today!!!!!???

yes right on!

The closest thing to a problem I had so far was my GPS going all sideways. As far as I can tell, the GPS unit failed, so it reverted to an accelerometer that was facing 180 degrees the wrong way as backup. Turning off the car for a while (for Sync to completely power down) and turning it back on fixed it. The issue never returned.

As far as imperfections, the only thing I spotted was the tailgate cable on the left was loose while the right one is taught, but I think that's an issue with everyone. Otherwise, everything is fine so far after about 1800 miles (build date end of September). No imploding CP4, no exploding cold side pipe, no paint problems, no mysterious dents, DPF regens running properly, etc. Nothing is amiss. 300 miles ago, I slapped on an S&B CAI box with a dry filter. I haven't had any issues with it installed. So far I'm averaging about 19 MPG (21 on the lieometer) out of the 6.7.

For those who are a little scared of purchasing the F250, think of it like this. The F150 and Super Duties have an annual sales of over 1 MILLION units. Super Duties alone are several hundreds of thousands in one year. If you see tens of people squawking about it, you can probably assume that means hundreds of people with issues. That is still 0.1% rate of issues. Honestly, the rate is probably closer to 1%. That's pretty good in my books. Same thing applies with the Ford service departments. You will see a giant graveyard of truck parts sitting in the service bays because they keep getting vehicles going through for repair. Well, when dealers are selling hundreds of units a month, you can imagine that a few of those will come back for routine maintenance, bad owners who abuse their trucks, or actual warranty repairs over time. Yes, many common failures may be attributed to owners who don't treat their trucks all that well, then blame Ford. Go figure.

7.3 with 6000 miles since June. Zero problems. Love the truck. The 7.3 is far superior to the 6.2 I drove for 9 years.

Another happy 7.3L owner here with 5500 miles no issues. The truck is a blast to drive and comfortable on road trips with the trailer.
