Tremors Towing Things

Bad photo. But you get the idea.

Good Photo to show tailgate open with Weigh Safe weight distribution hitch!

I presume you don't tow with it open -tight turn might be hard on things?

250 or 350?
250 or 350 - for Tremor they are the same truck (same suspension) but with the 350 you pay $1,000 +/- more - but you get a higher load rating. That gives you the most flexibilty when looking at trailers and will add the most value when you go to sell your truck. Only issue we face in CA (I see you are in Carlsbad) - is the 350 will be registered as a commercial truck, unless you check the box for lower load rating (then you should just get a 250 with high capacity tow package) and the registration is a bit more than a 250 annually.

I got a 350 - found out about the registration stuff when I bought it, but it is a small price to pay for the extra load rating on the sticker. I have a 10k bumper pull now, but plan to go to a 5er in the future, so planning the truck for the future.

Spend $85,000 on a superduty truck.

Don’t tow anything.

Be a man.

Post pictures of your tremors towing what you got them to tow. When mine comes I’ll post mine ;)

had both of my vehicles at one of my offices and decided it was time to get one of them back home. 2022 F250 Platinum Tremor Powerstroke towing my 2018 Explorer Sport on a Uhaul trailer, aside from being a little heavy I really like these trailers. super easy to use and they tow pretty nice, plus it was $125 for 5 days. anyway from Williston ND to Montrose CO doing 70-75 pretty much the whole way, I averaged 14.6mpg and I’m incredibly happy with that. truck only had about 1600 miles on it when I departed.

I swung into tractor supply to grab a hitch and was thrilled to see that they sold the B&W tow & stow 7”/7.5” drop so I grabbed it up without even thinking to measure. I thought the truck came with a 2.5” receiver and 2” adapter, not 3”/2.5” 🤦🏻‍♂️ so I’ll be ordering the 3” variant, but I had to stack adapters just to use for this trip.

anyway, truck pulls like a monster and I think this was with about 8k behind it. there are some hills on 85 in North Dakota that I come over the top of at <10mph in a semi truck and this one didn’t even shift down from 10th gear. plan is to get a nice fifth wheel in the next year or so, and I have a lot more confidence in this truck now after seeing it in action.

My new Maxx-d dump trailer. It's 6'x12', 14,000 lbs. Upgraded from a PJ 5'x10', 10,000 lbs. Local rock delivery guys are charging WAY too much for deliveries these days. I save $53 for every trailer load I bring home when I go to town. I was moving dirt on this particular day.

I picked up about 4 ton (3 yards) of river rock yesterday morning and spent the day putting it all down in my landscaping by hand. My back is not at all happy with me today.
