Today while driving had a ton of warning lights pop up. Kept driving until I got home and when I shifted into reverse nothing happened. I was able to get it into neutral and roll it into the driveway, but its dead! The truck thinks its in gear so it wont start and is showing every electrical fault possible and the deployable steps not working. I disconnected the batteries in hopes it would reset, but no luck. Tow truck on the way. 1,006 miles - Shit happens what can you do!

Sorry to hear that

Hope they get you back on the road soon!!!

Rats!

Seriously, rats. I was sick for a month last year and didn't go anywhere. Every little vermin in the area took residence in my truck and chewed on the wiring and now all the sensors read no or low signal so nothing works right. My solution? Order a new Tremor!

I'm not saying this is your problem but if they chew the right wire loom or the right ground it will do this.

Sounds serious, but you're right - shit happens - take a deep breath and keep the fingers crossed. Have good stiff drink while you're doing that too!

My bet is a loose ground cable.

The worst part is getting towed by a Ram.

Tremor Down! Huge Bummer...........I will say a prayer to the Tremor GODS tonight..............Chin up...Ford will get you fixed up! This has happened once or twice this year....if memory serves it ended up being a water leak that took out computer modules in the front passenger area in front of the door.....those Tremors got fixed. Lets hope for a loose ground wire!

Maybe it just needs washing?;)

I had my Acura's wires chewed up by pack rats in Lake Havasu City.

It turns out the wiring harness connector on the transmission was not fully seated from the factory. Ford and the dealership were great about it, and found me a loaner even though they were super backed up.
Happy customer here, human error is not something to get bent out of shape about. Shit happens, got to roll with the punches.
