Tremors and Campers let's talk camping!!

We are headed to SD with our new camper from 6/14-24. Unfortunately Tremor is not in yet but I did finally get a build week of 6/13
It’s worth the wait, even if the timing isn’t right.

Camping and mountain trout fishing at the Toe River in our back yard of Western NC.🇺🇸

My wife and I are spending considerable more time on the road now that we are empty nesters, so this weekend we picked up a 2022 Jayco Eagle HT 29KBS travel trailer. This is a great couples trailer with a large bedroom (slide) and a large living and kitchen area (double slides) and is 38’ long. GVWR of the trailer fully loaded is 11,250 and the pull home over the Blue Ridge Mountains was actually pretty darn easy with the 7.3. It had no problem going up hills.

Great setup. Just pulled our 33 foot 5’r below Charleston SC and back after a week‘s vacation. Averaged about 8.5 mpg. How did you do in the mountains? Thinking of a trip in that direction.

This was only about 60 miles for me to bring the camper home, so I didn’t pay any attention to the mileage. Once I start taking it on trips that I need at least one fill up I will monitor it. Sometimes I really don’t want to know though…

Yesterday we were headed home from Lake Guntersville on the Smokey Mountain Expressway. Love the high cooler elevation of the Smokey Mtns and the Blue Ridge Mtns. 🇺🇸

Awesome photo @Patriot (y) That's another place on my travel list I can't wait to check out.

I agree it is best not to know. We didn’t buy these for the mileage. I stopped yesterday when it said I had about 72 miles range left and put $50 in it to make sure I got home. Today I filled it up and it was $95. It is in the shop out back right now resting for the next trip! It pulled the 33 foot 5’r with no issues at all.

Built a different camping setup for our Michigan to Moab/Page/Grand Canyon/Sedona trip.
Couple 2x6s, Etrack components, plywood and the mattress pad from our camper. Frame is held in by Boxlink. Softopper and a tailgate tent for shelter. We did this so we could be very agile about where we camped, didn’t book any sites, just stayed on the move for 2 weeks.
Not as comfortable as the camper but it was an awesome trip!

Just returned home (Michigan) from a trip to Georgia. My wife had a work conference down there. We had recently bought our camper and decided to put it to the test!
Traveling with a 4 year old girl and 2 Golden Retriever 8 month old puppies, we decided to space out the travel a bit. Coming down we stopped for the night at Camp Atterbury south of Indy. The next night was Arnold AFB in Tennessee. Next, our M - F campsite in Buford Ga.
The return home was a little different. First stop a KOA in Corbin Ky, back to Atterbury, and finally home to Michigan from there.
Was a fun trip. We hit bad traffic a few times. The Tremor and ATC worked real well together. First time towing down a 6% grade too😁.
The last picture of the dash is the fuel data for the trip from GA home to Mi.

Thanks Modified, 👍🏻 whenever you head this way please reach out. I can give you a decent list of must see Blue Ridge Mountain vistas to check out in the cooler elevations.
