Let's see your rigs, talk camping and share favorite campgrounds. Here's my current setup. Its a 25 FBT Airstream. It has 900lbs tounge weight and weighs around 7300lb fully loaded. The wife and I love to camp at corps of engineers campgrounds, our favorite is Indian creek on Mark Twain lake in Monroe city, MO. Camping so far with all the new influx of campers hasn't been bad so far.

That is a stunning TT!!

900lb tongue/7300lbs.....I bet that truck doesn't even know it's towing anything!

I love airstreams but man they get pricey. Probably last a hell of a lot longer than the other style rvs though.

My old neighbor back in MA sold her house after retiring, bought a 20 something foot airstream and an F150. She established a BS fake residence in Florida for tax purposes and is spending the forseeable future roaming the country. I don't want to wish my life away but I was very jealous lol....I would love to do that.

True, it tows it like it's a kite. I've had a few 1/2 tons towing and IMHO a superduty just makes the job so much easier. Airstreams are pricey and honestly, its like camping in a hallway. It was a camper my wife and I always wanted. There are a lot of high quality campers out there.

Awesome camper! Our Tremor will be pulling a 33’ Winnebago. I too would love to be a full time camper. The closest I’ll come to that is in 2 years the wife and I are going to retire and travel the across the states for a few months before moving south where I don’t have to use the heated wipers!

The older i get, the more I hate the cold weather. 2yrs would be a great time to travel full time. Camper sales are booming and there are a lot of new campers out there.

17’ Casita. About 4000 lbs with 400 lb tongue weight. Lifted and frame fully reinforced. Axle swapped with a 5200#, rear platform fabricated, Toyo AT II tires.

Here’s the build thread:

Looks GREAT ! We just got a 30RB International and getting ready for our first Real roadtrip in Sept..

My rig with the old truck. Its a 324TSBL from Forrest River, 40ft, 9k dry with a 1,200lb tounge weight. The old F250 felt plenty safe, but worked pretty hard to pull it. So we upgraded!! I'm anxiously awaiting my 6.7 F350 Tremor to get back to camping!

So....I would Love the Airstream...But Wifey wants slides...opposing slides, so we can get around our GSD inside it. Got our eyes on a Grand Design Reflection.....either a Half-ton towable 5er or a TT. Can't wait....Probably next summer.

Grand Design makes some really good campers. Some of them was like walking through a Malibu mansion.

Your Camper is cool BUT........your GSD is freaking awesome!!!

He certainly has his moments! He manages to fit in the trailer just fine.

We lived in a 42’ toy hauler full time for 5 years. After that, unless I’m full time, I’ll never own another conventional ”stick built” trailer again. The only upgrade we could see past the Casita is the Oliver Elite II, which is 23’ and about $85k loaded (they even have an option for lithium batteries and the AC can run off those and the supplied solar).

That's pretty long.....I am trying to stay under 34 feet....our kids are all over 35 so we only need space for the Doggy!
