I am wanting to add these similar lights. Can you please give details on how to run wiring and what mods to wires you did to hook up to Upfitter. Also did you run wire in anything or exposed. I appreciate the help. I'd like to install myself vs pay an additional $250 for install which I have been quoted.

Install was pretty straight forward...1 hr.

I ran a 14 AWG wire from the upfitter fuse box, behind the battery tray, down the inside of the passenger front fender and back to rear bumper using heavy duty tie wraps to secure the cable on the inside of the chassis rail out of harms way and so it wasn’t visible.

Wire was stripped back on both end. On the Upfitter end I tied the positive into the fuse box AUX 1 wire using a 16-14 AWG (Blue) splice connector w/ heat shrink. Ground was terminated with 16-14 AWG (Blue) ring connector w/ heat shrink and installed into grounding bolt located just in front of batter tray near fender bolting.

I cut the Deutsch male ends (2x) off the harness provided with the lights and made a ‘Y’ harness using a Female Deutsch connector. Once complete, I wrapped the harness with 1/4” loom so it looked factory and secured to other factory harness located on back of chassis and plugged male ends into the lights.

I installed a Male Deutsch on the end of the 14 AWG wire that I had run down the chassis and them plugged it into the harness.

Worked like a charm, looks factory and should last👍
Let me know if you need pics or additional info.

My Y harness looked almost identical to this one when completed https://www.xtremediesel.com/zroadz-z3900alo-aw6-splitter-y-harness-deutsch-connectors

This is amazing thank you for the awesome details. Great stuff. I will definitely be doing this on my own. If you could provide some pictures that would be helpful. I understand if it's to difficult.
2 additional questions.
1) What is your recommendation on cutting into the bumper and how to do that? Tools?
2) If you could do it over would you space the lights further away from eachother or would you change anything?
Thanks again

I’m pretty happy with the position of the lights.

Here is a video I referenced to cut my holes.

1)covered the area with blue painters tape
2)checked back of bumper to make sure wires were moved and I wasnt cutting into a bracket
3) used a tape measure and straight edge to marke both positions
4)used provided template to mark both cut locations
5)used drill to drill 4 pilot holes (each corner) large enough to fit jig saw blade
6)cut out with jig saw
7)cleaned up cuts with dremel
8)positioned light and marked mounting hole
9)drilled mounting holes

squeeze these two tabs to release fuse box and access upfitter wiring. Wires are labeled, but you have to remove a wad of black electrical tape to get to them
