Good video. Tremor did everything the sway disconnect front locker PW did. The only question was 1050tq for $20k more....is it worth it. They said no.

I like the ram box feature on the Dodge. Would be nice if Ford did something like that for the SD. There is a lot of empty space in that bed area that could be better utilized.

i like the ram box as a idea but they take alot alot of space from the bed and my dad's ram boxes leak and his passenger one just collects rain water and is a pain to drain. i like what the Brad Deberti did with there super duty

I don't think that price comparison is accurate at all. Power wagons start around $55k just to get to the PW option. Tremors can be had for $54k with the gas motors which would have been the better comparison of these two vehicles. Everything else past those price points for options is preference, including a diesel motor (which has its trade offs off road).

Second you get more than 2.5 times the torque with a diesel. More load capacity, better fuel mileage, more durable components (rear end specifically) etc. Picking that as an option, for only $8k more is a choice that comes with some trade offs.

i didn't see them talk about the Fuel mileage of the powerwagon on the highway just the tremor which 21 mpg is pretty good.... didn't seem to be a fair review

Yeah if they did a comparison with the Diesel, it isn't really the same, especially if they complain about the pricing. That's just stupid on their part.

I think it’s funny they compare the top trim level of a tremor to a power wagon then complain about the price. I hate to beat a dead horse but those trucks are for two different buyers. Let’s see that PW tackle a trail then hook up a 5th wheel for a camping trip.

I also seem to remember the TFL video where the power wagon failed to disengage the sway bars.

Now if only hell could freeze over and the winch become available for the tremor, I’d be in hog heaven.

My take away is that it basically performed as well as the Power Wagon offroad, which is surprising without a sway bar disconnect and front locker. I did notice the tremor would lift a tire sooner but for the terrain they were testing didnt seem to matter much, if you were doing some serious rock crawling it would likely be different...but not many people gonna take 7k lb+ truck down the Rubicon trail. The price as others have said is irrelevant as they chose not to compare similarly equipped trucks.

Exactly the rock trails will stall the breakover or departure angles way before it stops the Tremor for lack of sway dis. Too long and big for serious rock crawling but would like to see these two at Moab....

Speaking of Moab is there still talk of a tremor camping trip? Moab would be a good spot to meet up.
Well if we included the power wagon we could meet up at the Ram dealer where the Power Wagon is getting 14 things fixed.

entertaining vid but comparison is wonky as everyone else has said

haven’t done Much off road yet, but I was really pleased with how the Tremor handles. Thought the diesel might struggle with the weight but didn’t really notice the truck struggling

Just gave it a bump to see if it gets more traction.

Will keep an eye on this

Start a thread. I’d be interested in any meet up.

I think they missed the ball on this review. They should of reviewed like trucks. A platinum diesel vs a looks like Laramie power wagon, then basing their decision on price is Wrong. Even then the capability of the ford for real world use is so much more. In this review they may of been better of comparing the power wagon vs the raptor since thats what the results seem to favor.
