Wanted a Tremor but couldn't give up the long bed. Just installed 285/75r18 duratracs on Method 701 HDs on my 2021 XLT. Planning on purchasing the PMF lowering shackle along with air bags (I tow a skids steer a most days). With 3:31s I can't believe how awesome the mileage is. I lost some city mileage with the bigger tires (34.8 vs 32.1) but my highway mileage is nearly identical falling right around 19 mpg on the computer not accounting for the larger tires. When I put a similar tire wheel setup on my 2019 RAM I lost about 3 mpg highway. Loving this truck and the 10 speed in particular.

Nothing wrong with that! Other than the limited slip front diff and rock crawling mode there nothing that isn’t pretty easy for the average guy to do. Personally I don’t need rock crawling mode, especially since the skid plates are a joke- yes the TC and fuel tank have protection, but The plastic transmission pan and oil pan are wide open. It does protect from damage but it certainly not set up for any serious rock crawling ?

My Tremor imposter. 2019 XLT with all of the goodies on the Tremor except 10 speed and rock crawling mode. It will do for now, but next one will be the real Tremor...........................RR
You put Tremor stickers on a non-Tremor mode?

I test drove a crew cab long bed FX4 and liked it a lot. It was blue jeans 6.7l but it was hard to turn around and park. I heard about the Tremor and ordered it without driving one first. I’m ok with faux tremors, just don’t put the sticker on it like it’s real!!!

The Tremor "clone" thread. its been done for many years with the old muscle cars. Guys get a 318 Charger, drop in a 440 block and call it an RT.

End of the day its a Charger with a 440 just like a real RT. The benefit to a muscle car clone is you don't worry about driving it or racing it. Many original cars turn into trailer queens. disadvantage if you crash it probably not going to get your money back on any of the options.

I sort of agree...but, youre talking about 50 year old classics that are scarcely in existance.
Its hard to find a 318 Charger anywhere, let alone an original R/T. So why clone a Tremor when you can have the real thing. Any Ford dealership can order or find you one. Not trying to flame anyone. Im not even a fan of the Ranger TRemor.
