Transmission feels like it’s surging.

When I’m running on freeway at freeway speeds the transmission feels like it’s surging, it’s very faint, let off the gas pedal and it’s smooths out. Anyone else noticing this? 1500 miles on truck 7.3l

Like its searching for gears? Drive by wire throttle can give a surge feeling as throttle control is not consistent. This has been discussed before.

Does it do it at freeway speeds with cruise control on?
