Tranny temps?

It’ll do 85 mph all day on normal grades when not in the mountains down in the Denver area.

Trucks have come a long way. Consider that a 2007 F350 dually diesel was only rated at 17,000 lbs (Non-SAE J2807 - so if it were re-rated against modern testing it would probably be even lower) towing a fifth wheel, and Ford rates the ‘20 Tremor 7.3 at 17,500 lbs SAE. The 7.3 makes 105hp more than the 6.0 turbodiesel, and at 475 lb ft. torque at 4k rpm only makes 95 lb ft. less than that diesel.

It doesn’t have the effortless low-end torque of the 6.7, but then again it also doesn’t have $500 injectors and DEF and EGR systems and the +$8k price tag that comes with the 6.7. If I get annoyed by this setup I’ll bolt on Whipple’s PD blower once it’s available, assuming the transmission doesn’t grenade first.
