Ticking like a typewriter in my door

Irritating clicking vibration sound like someone typing away, the vibe noise had developed in the drivers door,
Truck just turned 10k its. 20 Tremor.
anyway behind the grab handle cover there are 2 bolts that go into nut plates “2 of 7 total bolts or screws that hold the door cover on.
these twowere the problem, i took the door cover off and separated the plastic to get to the back of the nut clips and once i gave them a flick the noise was dead on! Ford put white tape here but its not enough, i put tape on the back side then put it on the front with holes cut so the bolt would go in easy. I used gorilla tape. Worked great no more tick tick tick over rougher pavement roads!

Something on the passenger side of my truck rattles when going over certain bumps, although I only have about 1000 miles. Sounds like its the glove box area, but hard to tell for sure. Thanks for the info, I will check mine out.

But I hate rattles on brand new 80K+ trucks.

Mine had a pretty intermittent noise that has recently gotten a lot more frequent. Looks like I know what I’m doing this weekend. The noise drives me nuts.

Resurrecting this thread. Wondering if you could confirm if this was the sound you were hearing: F250 Door Noise . If so did your door also creak, crack or click during opening and closing?
